I found this band after a bad breakup. 10 years ago I was in bed up all night crying with headphones scrolling through UA-cam songs and pondered on the Youth album. Been my favorite band ever since.

memories of my early teenage years. i am so fucking glad & grateful i have survived all I was going through those times & myself. Life is so beautiful & I LOVE being alive but those things didnt allow me to experience this back then (I am 20 now). Feeling alive really could wait, & i do now :) If you're going through it right now, stay alive. Just stay alive. I love you & you will love yourself & your life too, soon.

Every time I listen to this song I think of my old high school friends and how we used to lay in the middle of the road between sugarcane fields and let the farm sprinklers rain on us. And how we used to run down to the sea at dusk and talk and cry about all our teenage angst.
