That liquid mirror looks perfect for the beskar! Even from this scale and distance, I can see it shining!
Yeah the mirror stuff looks really cool
A really fantastic "liquid/mirror" chrome effect is from Molotow, a lot of hobby stores carry them as paint-pens. They also have refills like the bottle from CultureHustle, costs about the same too, round about forty USD. SpazStix Ultimate Mirror Chrome is a spray paint in a tiny can that works decently for surfaces (it's meant to be used on the "other" side of plastic/Lexan, makes a true mirror when used like that) but isn't anywhere near as good as Molotow or CultureHustle's mirror chrome paint.
Just babbling happily about it, a true mirror chrome paint is priceless IMO. The stuff we've been using is nothing like this. Be safe you guys!

The Naboo starfighter is one of my favorite starships, but your idea of a larger ship that holds the starfighter sounds amazing.

Really enjoyed this build, I would have liked a transparent cockpit and astromech/Grogu space but given the scale and materials it looks great!
Yeah that cockpit glass didn't work for me either. But it was another fantastic build of course.

I love your work man. The N-1 is one of my favorite SW ships. I was excited to see it brought back, but I too feel that it isn't the best ship for a Bounty Hunter

The N-1 in the show looked fantastic and definitely had some Mando vibes with the all silver feel. I agree it's not what I would've expected, especially as an intended replacement for the Razor Crest, but still, awesome ship! Great work here as usual, your patience with this time scale is beyond what I could ever muster.

Wow really good job! That mirror paint looks amazing and if you airbrush it it might be even smoother I love this build!
I've used Molotow's paint-pen refill (costs about the same and works about the same, I'm going to buy me some of that CultureHustle) in my airbrush before, it really does come out *MUCH* smoother than brushing it (it'll look almost like a mirror). The only few problems I've had is that you have to put it on pretty thick (make sure you use a gloss black basecoat with these mirror chromes) so it doesn't go ultra far if you're making like prop-swords like I do, and you have to be very careful on your overlapping passes or you'll mess up the mirror's evenness in spots, and it just... drives you nuts.
And takes turpentine to clean, or heavy solvent, my normal airbrush cleanser didn't work at all. Heavy alcohol would probably work. Be safe Jack take care :)

I like Mando’s new ship. It reminds me of Mad Max’s V8 Interceptor. And I’m not sure that Mando is still apart of the Bounty Hunters Guild. If he only takes on-planet bounties he wouldn’t necessarily need a large transport ship. Him and Grogu are a lot leaner and meaner now. I am wondering where he’s keeping all of his weapons now. They are apart of his religion, after all.

I love the ship! It is so sleek, shiny and badass...just like him!! Yeah it doesn't work well for a bounty hunter...but I think those days are over for him anyway. He is on to bigger and more important things! And I hope we get a name for it in Mando season 3.

Great build, that mirror paint is really cool. Man I need to start wearing a respirator when I sand foam or use my proxxon. I'm definitely not a responsible builder in that aspect.

Nice build! As far as cutting a Curve on Foam: you could make a jig. If you anchor the flat side on a one pivot point, and turn on that it will turn on one point. if you're looking up things could look up Bandsaw round cutting jig. Well done, i liked your build a lot

For what it’s worth, the “this method” of measuring the length of the round surface like you did, is called “rolation”.
I really enjoy watching your vids I only just started watching your vids but its really cool watching you build all these dioramas keep up the good work!
IIRC they even mention in the episode that this ship is just temporary for Mando. It works for now to get him where he needs to resolve his current affairs, like seeing Grogu, resolving the Darksaber stuff, reclaiming his Mandalorian honor, etc. I'm sure he'll find another big ship. I personally would have liked to see the "reformed" ship angle but with a Clone Wars Era Republic Gunship. Would have lots of room for bounties while still itching that nostalgic edge the creators were going for with the N1 fighter

i love the ship and the big carburetor-esque thing sticking out looks great, and i think really fits with the rough starwars asthetic, but i agree that im unsure of how this ship will fit with the bounty hunter career. feels more like a hotrod than a paddy wagon
