Salaam Fehzan. Question on cryptos, say I've been in it on and off for 5+ years using multiple wallets, exchanges, nfts, different chains etc. Some of these wallets are no longer in use and seed phrases are lost etc. 100s if not 1000s of transactions have taken place. Essentially don't have a reliable trail dating back 5 years, in fact, don't even remember initial investment. Will HMRC accept an estimate tax return e.g. estimate started off with 20k and now at 100k, so taxed on the 80k? I know it's a lot more complicated if there is a trail but in this case the trail is pretty much lost. Also, since the tax payment would be 5 years, would I get the allowance combined for 5 years (i.e. £6k x 5 years = 30 years

It’s extremely competitive to get in I’d say around 40-50 applications for each early careers vacancy
