Hey Spud. The PGM model is no longer made, however, the PGJ is essentially a direct replacement. Just for fun: PGM = M is for mini rotor PGJ = J is for junior rotor
Hey Matt! We'd typically recommend the MP Rotators in that kind of situation over the PGJ for better coverage combined with the best conservation of water.
@@Andy_Humphrey what if that area is only getting 18-22 psi at the heads? My MP rotators don’t really spin unless it’s at 180* even then sometimes they don’t like to. All brand new clean nozzles. I have to use the MP3000 on max to get just about head to head coverage on a 20’ head space. The MP2000 on max wasn’t even close!
@@mattfabian9758 The MP Rotators are running at their minimal performance at about 30psi, so you're really below the minimum operating range for those nozzles. The PGJ does have a lower PSI that it will operate under, but you're still going to be at or slightly under the minimum pressure requirements for the PGJ. You'll want to consult the performance chart and see if you'll get the results you want with a PGJ running at 20psi.
The Check Valve is installed into the bottom of the sprinkler (the inside portion). You will unscrew the sprinkler, pull it out of the canister, and push the check valve into the bottom. Then insert the sprinkler back into the canister, screw it in place, and you're done! Super easy.
I’m trying to cap off my PGJ and can’t find a simple solution, can you help me please???
I have an older system and they are hunter pgm heads. Do they still make those? One is leaking by at the riser when on

Should I use these or MP rotators on a all grass spot 80’-85’ long and 18’-20’ wide. Using floratam down in south Florida.
