It’s so uncanny the way things happened for you. Real estate markets in Virginia and Tennessee are both full of old homes, but the latter tends to tear down those structures or gut them to make them more modern. In Virginia, Philadelphia, and even parts of Maryland, you’ll find many more people who are more interested in restoration and paying homage to the original home. I think this is the perfect place for y’all. Congratulations to you both!
That is so true! Love that you are so familiar with the areas and you are so right. Our street in Nashville looked completely different in 3 years because each lot became so lucrative. They would tear down one old home and put 4 in its place!

It’s so uncanny the way things happened for you. Real estate markets in Virginia and Tennessee are both full of old homes, but the latter tends to tear down those structures or gut them to make them more modern. In Virginia, Philadelphia, and even parts of Maryland, you’ll find many more people who are more interested in restoration and paying homage to the original home. I think this is the perfect place for y’all. Congratulations to you both!
That is so true! Love that you are so familiar with the areas and you are so right. Our street in Nashville looked completely different in 3 years because each lot became so lucrative. They would tear down one old home and put 4 in its place!
