Thanks man, I ended up sticking with the mods that I have because I primarily play HvV, and I tried getting mods to change all the heroes into cooler characters. I'll share a list of my mods if you're interested!

The Phase I helmets look so radically different in The Clone Wars show.
I had to look at it like ten times, but yeah the helmets do look pretty different between TCW and Star Wars Episode II!

Yes the phase 1 armor from the movies looks dog shit. The phase 1 armor from TCW looks better than both Phase 1 and 2 from the movies.

Yeah, I think modern consumerism often causes people to be a bit entitled, but one should really be grateful for what they have. Especially considering these mods are free and the mod authors worked hard on them.
I gotta say though, most people on here it appears have not been like that and I'm glad. I love Star Wars and I don't want people to think our fanbase is toxic. Most people I know who are Star Wars fans are nice. I appreciate the comment! 🙂

I've been using some of these mods combined with many others for a while now (definitely check out the one where clones use the DC-15A rifle up against their shoulder instead of down at their waistline) and they are superior to anything I've seen Dice do for the Clone War era. If modders out there can do stuff this good for Battlefront 2 EA already, we should definitely be seeing new modded maps coming in these next few years just like OG Battlefront 2

I made a clone wars firefights mod a bit ago that replaces the blasterfire to better match the show version as well! These mods are amazing and they definitely make the game even more fun

question, are the mods compatible with each other or do i have to use only one at a time?
It's been a hot minute, but if I recall correctly almost everything is compatible together. The only things where you can use at a time are the TCW skins for the clones and stormtroopers (RIP). 🙂

How do you apply the mods to battlefront 2 I downloaded the Star Wars The Clone Wars Overhaul Phase 1 and can't get it to work in game
I used Frosty Mod Manager. First thing you'd do is load the mod into the mod manager, for Frosty, there's a button towards the top that says "Add Mod."
Then you'll make sure to select the mod on the mod list to the left then click the "Apply Mods" button. Should be at the top towards the middle.

I prefer the clone wars design. The Live Action one looks a bit.... Fat on the helmet.
If someone is of smaller build like me, wearing a helmet like it almost makes me feel like a bobble head. 😂 No cap, I love the live-action helmet though.

Typically cosmetic mods are the safest. Anything that changes gameplay is a no.

Definitely not. At least the mod that switches its weapons is not safe.
I find the lack of brows on the cw clone helmets disturbing.
I agree wholeheartedly! There are some clone action figures I would love in the ROTS-style, but the lack of the brow line makes me disinterested.

most of these mods either don´t work anymore or don´t work alongside other mods. The battledroids mod doesn´t work, the clone wars clones doesn´t work well either, and if you try to mix them with other mods, the game won´t even launch, how did you manage to make all of them work?
I'm surprised they don't work anymore. I always say, when I doubt just try one mod at a time and adjust the mod load order until it works. I also learned that you want to make sure Frosty Mod Manager is up-to-date.
I can try to test the mods again sometime to see what you can do.

@@nicklose2 edit: i got the clone wars style imperial units, the clone wars clones, the clone wars dooku, vizsla,crosshair, sidious,maul,vader, anakin, obi wan and ahsoka working, but for that i had to delete the mandalorian over finn which really sucks because i don't wanna see that useless character and i rather play as mando😂 i'll try to get the clone wars battle droids to work which is the mod that i think doesn't work at all anymore

To tell you the truth, I had recorded audio about Vader in TCW but completely forgot until I published the vid. 😭 Forgive me, I'm a one-man crew at the moment.
The 212st clone isn’t cannon.. I’m not hating the person who made the mod… but if you add the right thing it will be cannoned and not some other battalion that has the same colors of the 212st.
If you mean the clone skin on the thumbnail, it's an alternate skin for the 212th.

This game is still alive?!?!?!?? Every time I boot up the game and try to play online it says that EA shut down the multiplayer servers. What’s going on?
Servers are still up and running, only thing that was cut was future update support
Yeahh, I often boot it up now and then to play. I don't play online anymore (even if I had no mods), but I do play single player a lot. Maybe others are like that.
I do hope someone's is making a Star Wars Battlefront sequel. It doesn't have to be DICE, now that EA lost exclusive rights. As a UA-camr said, they're throwing away a cashcow if that's the case.

It was ages ago when I tried it so I have a hard time remembering. Maybe a thing called nexus mods if I remember correctly. Tried using some mods but didn't work at all. And idk how to get a controller to work on it too, I played it on PS4. I got SWBF2 for free from epic games but I just wish the mods would work for me or it was simple to use.
I got frustrated & quit cause I couldn't figure it out. I also have an old PC from like 2008 lol.

I think I tried that maybe. I remember frosty, WinRAR & nexus mods I think. I don't play on PC, most I've played is Battlefield 4 ages ago.
My top recommendations if you do go back to using mods. I don't know all the mod managers out there, but I use Frosty Mod Manager. I don't know if it's the best, but it gets the job done.
Look for a mod and see when the mod was last updated. At a certain point, a mod will become too outdated to use. Download the mod, add the mod use Frosty, then apply the mod. Do make sure to read on what mods are compatible with it and if there are any requirements for the mod. When in doubt activate your mods one by one. If the game doesn't start or crashes, you'll know what the issue is.

Oh alright thanks so much. I think I was using frosty actually but I'm just clueless with this stuff, zero experience. I'll look up stuff again if I can't get it to work. I love seeing the mods & wish I could get them to easily work. You're one of the few UA-camrs who respond to people too.

sadly i can no longer play battlefront 2 no matter what i do i cannot fix my game it launches with hdr enabled with a monitor that doesn't support it
or my monitors do but it is messing with them when i don't want hdr on it changes the color ratio but doesn't actually enable hdr on the monitor if you enable it properly it overlays 2 hdr settings over itself basically the game is unplayable everything is super washed out and bright blaster bolts are like flashbangs lol it's my only game in my entire library that does this
and forcing hdr off doesn't help it just appears off in settings but is enabled.
Sorry to hear that. If you upgrade in the future, maybe the problem resolves itself. Weird though.

My thoughts are to just roleplay / recreate a scene, or they just prefer these looks for whatever reason.

I just prefer clone wars design over live action any day. Clones and droids looked much better, design of major characters looked better. They could've went with the design of the clone wars and the realistic textures of the movies. I would've loved to see Clone wars Kenobi, Ani, Yoda, Count, Grievous, Maul etc with real looking hair. I think it would've looked great! Oh my and Clone wars clones and droids. 😩
Yeah, Anakin and Obi-Wan in armor are my favorite looks for them and in TCW we did get introduced to the canon ARC troopers, so it has that going for it. All really cool.

A lot of people really love the show. I love the show too, not too big on the animated proportions though. There could be a variety of reasons they might want that.
The Clone Wars series made armour look tighter and more protective. The films and games make it look looser and like it comes off really easily.
I can understand your sentiment. I prefer the live-action look myself because of its bulkiness. It looks kinda like those bulky police vests.

That’s nice and all but the clones in battlefront two are based on the movies and not the kid show. Yeah it doesn’t make a lot of sense it’s a stupid mod
I don't quite understand. I myself don't prefer the TCW-style clones but the great part about these mods is that it gives folks options if they do. For example, if they wanted to recreate scenes from the shows or whatnot. And the mod changes the clone models. It's no longer the ROTS-style clones, but the TCW clones . I'm sure it took the mod author a lot of hard work, so you might rephrase the "stupid mod" part.
