It's *very* common for people to not have any signs or symptoms of an STI- so things like full panel STI testing (for everyone), Pap smears with HPV testing (for folks with a cervix), and sexual health education (for everyone) are important.

There has to be more to this GEICO case. There has to be. The damages were too remote with regard to the insurance contract issued for the car to be covered. If you catch an STD in your house, your home insurance company isn't going to pay. Your health insurance is, depending on your cover. Car insurance doesn't normally cover everything that happens in a car. It covers everything reasonably foreseeable that can happen in or to a car in the course of normal usage. If you contract a disease from shooting up in the car or smashing in the car, that's not normal usage. It's too remote.
