I think it is interesting that the Pachmyr's Square butt N-frame do not cover the back of the grip fram, but the round butt grips do. There is a big difference in how they affect my reach to the trigger.
Interesting... I had to go to that type of Pachmyr large rubber grip to make my Ruger Redhawk fit my hand - but, Ruger's are notorious for having tiny grips...
I have had a 625 from way back in the 90's I have a Houge 3 finger style grip on it witch leaves the back strap exposed and I have no problems with it I am now looking for a 325 or a short barrel 45 ACP revovler
@caseyjones2222 I'm thinking about putting in an adjustable rear sight myself. The S&W adustable sights are drop-in parts on this gun, but I need to determine the correct rear blade height.
@scape05 Hi. I took a look at your vids. Looks like you got a lemon. I would have thought the trigger return bar was binding and that S&W would fix that issue, but it doesn't sound like they did any work on that. My 325 works perfectly now that I re-gripped it and lightened the springs. Your hands must be a lot bigger than mine to use that Pachy grip. BTW, I love 10mm, but I shoot it in an EAA Witness autoloader. Wouldn't want to is such a light revolver...ouch!
The whole purpose of the grip is to allow proper hand placement consistently and fit in regards to trigger control. That's is why they make hundreds of different grips.
Hi Mike, I've had this gun a few months, tried a couple grips, settled on the old style walnut grips, haven't done the spring job yet. Any ideas on an adjustable rear sight? Thanks , Jim
do you find it different than other steel frame N frame models? From its appearance it seems to be the same dimensions. I find it odd that the coverage of the backstrap causes that much distress. I dont have big hands and find the Pachy compact grip on my M624 very comfortable. Are these Pachys different than the oder ones?

Well said. I carry an N frame 624 all day long with pachmayr compact grips on it. I got no problem whatsoever getting on the trigger.
Greta stuff, Mike. Hard to beat an abbreviated N frame.

Everybody's hands are different, but in scanning some of the large gun forum sites, the grip size appears to be the #1 complaint of 325 owners.

Let me know what you wind up using for the rear sight. Thanks, Jim

So,,Mike. This means you still.like your Star b for fitting you, over this Smith. How does the .410 chambeed revolver compare for fit?
NICE ADVICE AND REVIEW
Is this modelo 325 a revolver inspired by they John Jovino's "Efector" revolver?
The biggest issue for me is the outlandish costs $800-1K--Kudos to those that can afford it as I am sure it's a great gun, but I'm just sayin'...
I have not found such an issue
It doesn’t work with short fat fingers I guess ! More of a knock on the shooter than the revolver!
So, shooters with short fingers should grow longer ones? If the fingers are fat or skinny really doesn't change the reach issue....Dick Head
