Thank you Nikki for sharing this valuable information!! Because I'm a seasoned single lady (semi-retired) on a fixed income, I'm a 'dollar store' shopper. It's good to know that for only a few dollars more, I have options. I recently got several composition notebooks but wasn't clear on how to organize the purpose/function of them, until today. I'm truly happy to have you back in rotation here on UA-cam. Selfishly, I've missed seeing you & I haven't made it over to IG yet. Abundant peace & blessings to you all!! Please be safe & pray without ceasing. 👌🏽💖
Thank you aaand saw the feature on you and other notable UA-camrs in the AARP magazine! I was so happy and proud -like a friend of mine made the magazine! Congratulations and well deserved 🥰👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I have been journaling since I was in high school. We put one in the guest room and our guests would leave thank you notes or their favorite moments with us (along with their name and dates they stayed...pre pandemic). Thanks for the extra ideas.
Thanks for inspiring, Nikki 🙏🏼🥰✨💗I use a couple these days, a work journal, gratitude/healing journal, dream journal, and serendipity journal 📔 willl have to try th couples journal, could be so much fun 🤗
I love your videos!!! I've purchase multiple journals and planners from TjMaxx and Marshall's. They have a great selection. That Black and Beautiful journal is stunning.
Oh my! This video timing couldn't get any better. I do love collecting journals and notebooks and they are getting out of hand that I had to stop myself every time I see a cute one in the store. I want to start using them so I want new ideas. Thank you ☺️😍
Nikki, This is so great! I really needed these wonderful ideas; I never thought of many of them. I absolutely love journals and am guilty of buying more than I will use. I many times end up gifting them. One other idea is to use one as a gift journal to keep a record of gifts you've given to people, their likes/dislikes, etc. I've found this helpful because I am a giver and sometimes forget what I may have given someone (especially as I get older). Thanks again for sharing more ways to use journals! Sarah
Nikki, you are indeed a kindred spirit. I am a journal/stationery addict and have been since childhood. I used to buy them and say they were too pretty to use, now I put them to work! Great video and thanks for the abundance of great content lately. 🙋🏽♀️
I have had so many journals over the years but have never utilised them properly thank you Nikki. I always get so much out of your videos. Greetings from Down Under.
Great video Nikki. I loooove journals too. I also use them in my decor, just as you would coffee table books or standing between beautiful crystal bookends.
This was a great list. For those of us who are strictly digital there’s an app I use on my iPad for journaling and I can create and design different journals of the similar theme it’s called Zinnia. You can design the journal and have all of what Nikki mentioned in one app. I highly recommend
I keep a Bujo - Bullet Journal. A minimalistic one, inspired by Vera from SIMPLE HAPPY ZEN, no stickers or drawings. I use the 'Conceptum' journal by Sigel in black. The paper is acid,wood- and elemental chlorine-free, suitable for ink. The journal is equipped with ribbon markers, a pen loop, archive pockets, numbered pages, dotted pattern by choice and a personal directory. I filled it with monthly and weekly spreads, my own lists of all sorts, quotes, organized to my own likings. I love it, it works for me and alone just looking at this journal makes me smile. Then I use, also on a daily basis, a 'Paperblancs' "Flexis" in the "Kikka" design, lined pattern. It contains prayers for family and more, special bible verses, but also other positive, optimistic words, things I love. I called it First, which is written on the first page. The 2nd page says "God always first". I write in this journal only on the right sided pages. It really is true, on the days that I do use this little book first thing I do do better, no matter what comes ahead of me. I have other journals, but these 2 are my most important ones.
Thanks sis - I’m a pretty paper junky. They call my name all the time. Last year I gave away so many journals to a school. So I’m on restriction too! 😂
I used to keep my video game note (things I look up online for times I can't go online) in one but kept running out of space so I moved them to a binder. It's also much easier to print them out instead of hand writing them especially since most of them are around forty something pages each. May put one guide per smaller notebook or smaller binder to carry in smaller bags since I only typically play one for a long time. I keep one for quotes and another for general notes (my brain only clearly remembers things tied to strong emotions; everything else is hit or miss so I keep extensive notes on what I want to remember but may not). I used to journal my favorite dreams in small composition books but I couldn't find them one time so I switched to the large ones. The large ones are floppy so can't write in them standing up. I wrote them back to back so I can't edit them. Also the edges curl in them. They have stains (eraser and some food ones) and water damage (random sleepy tears and a beverage leak in a bag) in them. Also the covers are ripping up badly so want to add them to my binder in page protectors. I love the Staples Better Binder. It comes in several different colors. The pages don't curl in it due to the shape of the rings. Plus you can add a picture in the front cover sleeve and the spine. I'd put my recipes in a binder as well as some places you can print them out. It takes several pauses or replaying to get a spoken recipe down.
Another wonderfully useful video! I am such a journal hoarder. I never want to use them because I don’t want to “ruin” them. LOL! I’ve been using super cheap spiral notebooks as my quick go to book or a “practice” book. And then when I have a page that I really love or something worthy of saving in a beautiful place I transfer it over. My daughter and I use our version of an artistic bullet journal. We love to track our hobbies. I am a book lover so I track my current reads and “to be read” list. And my daughter is really into reptiles so she is tracking details about her pet corn snake.
Giiiirrrrrllllll who are you? the ideas you have!! thank God you come in peace and use your powers for good...LOL and thank you for confirming some of the ideas I have are not me being too "extra"..lol
The love letters idea is great.
Great day to you. 😊

😂 😂 I remember those diaries with the lock! I’m certainly guilty when it comes to over indulging in journals 🙈
I still have my very first diary and the lock still works!
I have had so many journals over the years but have never utilised them properly thank you Nikki. I always get so much out of your videos. Greetings from Down Under.
I keep a journal with all the books I want to read. 😀
Great video Nikki. I loooove journals too. I also use them in my decor, just as you would coffee table books or standing between beautiful crystal bookends.
I loved this 👌💕.
Thanks Nikki
Great ideas!
I am curious about the black and gold 🖊.
I love journals too! Could you please do a video on your discbound journals?
I love ALL of your videos. Thank you Nikki for the great tips! ❤️ I had a “lock” diary too lol, the lock did NOT work 🤣

Hi Nikki! I saw your book "Beautifully Organized" in TJ MAXX a couple of days ago! Of course I already have my copy! 😀
Very nice tfs👍🏼

Omg Niki I thought it was just me. I love a good journal.
Loved this Nikki❤️I too can get carried away with journals 😂🤣
So many good ideas here. I think that's been my mistake with journals -- I try to make one do too many things.
I use journals to track new restaurants I want to try.

I remember my diary with a lock and the little key. 🙂

My diary with the lock was pink & the lock/key was gold. Could not tell 11 year old me nothing. 😂
Lots of great tips.
