Country Blues with Soul !!!❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🎸🎸🎸🎸
Polo, you are so right about it being amazing when an artist can really put his whole emotional being into his music!! Chris Stapleton is one who can make you feel his emotional being!!😢😢😢❤
The dude is unbelievable 😮
Chris is a category of his own.
Thank you for introducing me to Chris Stapleton❤
One of my fav Chris Stapleton songs. It’s beyond the love of a dog, it’s remembering a soul that impacted your life and honoring them.❤️
You right.
Chris Stapleton has been touched with the hand of God which makes him above other artists.
On Pandora he has a radio station with Santana. He is often on BB King radio and Eric Clapton radio.
This is just NUTS.
Damn... I understand........when an artist can give us their pain in such an unfiltered form.... that is magic ! Bless you son for sharing him !
This Man is on Fire.
Just so FN raw simple pain in it's barest example. Love this mans talent!
My... The GOAT of his time! ❤
I've been a fan of Chris' for quite some time & THIS song does it for me EVERY time. I'll never, ever get tired of hearing it 🔥
You don't listen to Chris Stapleton. You feel Chris Stapleton.
Even though Chris is a country star, this is blues. An original American art form. That's why.
Very few artists have ever been as emotionally generous as Stapleton is. He gives you his guts in every performance. I've heard the myth many times that he suffers from stage fright and it's just not true. Nobody that's ever gone on stage and been this open and vulnerable could do it with even a mild case of the nerves. He's up there sharing himself and there's no fear in him.
I used to think shy, now I think humble.
Dang chris and his guitar 😮
What makes Chris so great is he has passion. You can hear it in voice and he feels what he sings and we feel what he is singing. Sometimes I close my eyes and almost think BB King is playing the guitar
All hail the king of blues.
When I see him Iive you have never heard a peep out of the Audience
Being my fellow Kentuckian is enough but Chris Stapleton is much more.🥰
Kentucky has a voice which you should be proud of.
Great reaction thank you for that. Chris has the understanding that expressing and sharing emotion and stories is the real purpose of music.
He has written literally hundreds of songs. This is a great one.
Equally drenched in emotion is Avi Kaplan, whom I mentioned in another reaction of yours to Pentatonix, does a similar thing with his "Change On the Rise" being the most famous. Another singer-songwriter that is not as well known in the USA is Rag N Bone Man (Rory Graham) from the U.K. his "Human" is particularly powerful and "Anywhere Away From Here" ft Pink. Rory just started recording in Nashville instead of London because of the concentration on making the music over selling the music you get in Los Angeles, London and NYC. He actually got stuck there when Covid quarantine started.
Again thank you for listening to Chris.
It’s an original and funny/strange thing…. It was written with Clint Ingersoll who was my realtor in Alabama and an awesome person.
a male Janis Jolin, wow that raw voice is very owerful
I agree but the “P” is not working on your keyboard lol.
@@WoodsyWoodson I know, too chea to buy a new keyboard right now.
It is..An Orig!
I love Chris Stapleton singing I was wrong.
This is one of my favorites... CryYyyyyyyyyyYy. I love hearing painful music too. It matches how I feel inside and I don’t have his talent to let it out.💕
I love how you spelled Cry just like it sounds when he sings it 🤘🤘🤘🤣
😂😂 nailed the capital letters in “cry”😂
Same here❤
Give Chris Stapleton’s live performance I Was Wrong
at Austin City Limits a listen.❤
Chris Stapleton could sing the yellow pages and draw emotions!
Check out The Allman Brothers Band.
I'm extremely lucky to be alive today..My Dad was an abusive alcoholic, who beat me, my Mom, brother & pets, for the fun of it..He didn't allow us to attend church..I went to school every day, after being beaten by him, with covered bruises..I never told a soul, that school, was my safe place..
Oh Polo, have you seen his video of Fire Away... it's totally heartbreaking. Love this guy and I can see you feel the same. My life has always included music and there are few genres I don't love, but music must be from the heart to be felt down to your toes; otherwise it's okay, but doesn't stay and make an impact on life. Have you done Elvis Presley's Don't... it's phenomenal.
Speaking of powerful voices Beth Hart you will be changed🎤❤
So many good songs from Chris!
I Was Wrong
Cold
His cover of James Brown's This Is A Man's World
His work with The Steel Drivers
Blue Side Of The Mountain
Good Corn Liquor
So many good ones!
The only version you should react to is live at the CMA awards, it is world class emotion!! With an orchestra as well
PLEASE check out Cold and Deathrow by Chris, both AMAZING songs
Keep going on Polo… by th way here is here the info on Cry: "Cry" is a 1951 popular song written by Churchill Kohlman. The song was first recorded by Ruth Casey on the Cadillac label. The biggest hit version was recorded in New York City by Johnnie Ray and The Four Lads on October 16, 1951.
It just shows how he is truly feeling it by making it his own! Great vibes!
I’m honestly shocked that this wasn’t his own. It’s right in the wheelhouse of what he writes for himself. Thanks for the information
@@afrohuman2 I just checked the liner notes of the Chris Stapleton album "Traveller" that this song is on, and it is his song. The name of the song is actually "Sometimes I Cry" written by Chris Stapleton and Clint Ingersoll.
@@stacy4823 Thanks Stacy. I never looked and just assumed he wrote it... it sounds like him.. writing style. So I’m going to have to go investigate the other song the Other poster was speaking of also.
Please react to Cold live at CMA awards!!!💞✌
His live duet with Justin Timberlake, at I think the Grammys, a few years back is what got me hooked on Chris Stapleton! Completely out of Justin Timberlake's wheelhouse but man, I had to know who Chris Stapleton was from that moment on. Then they bust out a second duet called "Say Something" on Jimmy Fallon. There is nothing that he touches that is not gold. There are a couple that may not be at the top of the list but he does everything masterfully and you have to appreciate the Artistry and soul he puts into every note he plays and sings. Singer-songwriters like this are so hard to find. He can capture you and put you dead center of the story that he is telling and you will feel like it is your own and that is incredible!

I've heard he has written over 500 songs! Listen to COLD...you'll love it
If this is your fav. So far then Cold is one you may appreciate from Chris it's as dope to me
If you like heartbreaking songs, you'd really like Either Way or Whiskey and You by Chris Stapleton.
I don't do a lot of country but this dude is legit. Very bluesy vocals. I got some emotional shit for you POLO. Are you a big Prince fan?
Re is a chic named BETH HART you have to react to her and Joe BONAMASA doing" I'd rather go blind' Live. Ya wanna feel the music, Beth is one of the best in my opinion!
I mean you really can't go wrong with Chris. Not a huge country fan, but I've seen him live 3 times w.e. that says.
♥
Chris is like Gregg Allman on steroids.
You have to check out “Arkansas”
Polo, please listen to "Cold" by Chris Stapleton
You should have a listen to this one! ua-cam.com/video/jzN9rdvXmS4/v-deo.html It’s the first one that I heard from Chris Stapleton, and is what got me started down the rabbit hole.
My recommendation is to react to Yebba, lose my mind.
Do think I’m in love with you!!
What’s that outro song on ya channel?
Jumping through your videos and watching them all. If you get an opportunity check out- In this River by Zakk Wylde. Im sure my comment will be lost in all of your fans, But it is truly amazing. Cheers.
