I had the same issue, half my house was hard wood narrow planks and other half was softer Cyprus pine . I put down 12 mm tongue and groove plywood with liquid nails and screws , toughened the floor right up than I ran 12 mm laminate flooring looks and feels great ...
Yes, I looked at wb40 and baby powder which sounds more like temporary fix, but this one is professional and better fix, especially if you want to sand and refinish. Thanks for that video
I rent. From the video, it seems like if use the wood glue (thinner where able) and then squeegee, and moist sponge, the glue won’t look to terrible? It won’t be a completely noticeable different color? And hopefully it won’t expand up to much? I respect my landlord. He does a lot of diy to the best of his ability. It doesn’t need to look perfect. I just don’t want it looking terrible. Thank you!!!
how about stopping the sqeaks because we dont want to cover it? how about on hardwood flooring over top of angled wood boarding, [not wood sheeting] in a 80 yr old house?
Thanks a lot for this video. yea got a big flooring job to do which I'm considering your option before the sanding. by the way, regarding the wood glue residue remains on the surface, did you have any issue sanding it down with the machine?
Bro hope u see this . I ripped my carpet snd then I polished the floor underneath with water base matt layer .... is there a way where I can add somthing to make it more stronger and hold ?
not sure if you guys cares but if you guys are stoned like me atm then you can stream all of the new series on Instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my brother lately :)
How long that last, bud? Almost wonder if just ripping the entire area out down to old subfloor … inspect, replace or add new subfloor, with liquid nail+ 1,000,999 nails to secure it… then a finished floor, such as 48” min length planks…
Obviously a customer job. This guy knows building and anyone in the field dam well knows never cover a beautiful wood floor like that. It's so prestine it doesn't even need refinished. Same goes with when I do a job and it's beautiful stained carpentry and they want it painted to look modern . Go commercial new construction that's where the money is.
You're covering over that gorgeous hardwood?
I've tried and it and it works so far, brilliant and easy fix thanks for the advice

Can I do this on my floor atm ? I only have the bottom layer would it wreck the layer of water base layer that I have on top of the boards ?
