I observed that many of the audience for this clip are students of class 11 and class 12 in CBSE Board as they are searching for the procedure to install MySQL in there systems (it is a part of syllabus for the subject, Informatics Practices). It is really good that this channel is helping out them (including me). Thanks for the clip!
This is a great, thorough installation video. I installed MySql Server 8.0.23, and while there were some very minor differences, 99 percent is essentially unchanged. Good work.

Most installing tutorials are like "yeah, you click here and magic happens, firgure it out for yourself". Thanks again, good work!

This person is in Germany and I don't think there is any CBSE school there. He cannot be an IP teacher there. Though, may be a teacher of another subject (related to IP we have in CBSE). Anyways, I agree that his explanation is as good as of a teacher and the video is quite good.

No, this is a very good video even though it has not worked for me. When the list of items that will be installed comes up in th einstaller, it is missing nearly everything, especially the server. Any idea what I can do?

Hi, Ahmad probably there is an issue with your Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable(x86) package. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable(x86) and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable(x64). The difference between x64 and x86 is that x86 for 32 bit OS and x64 for system with 64 bit. Then rerun the setup. It should solve the problem.
