The “disorientation” of 2020 was not kindness of god it was man made evil unleashed but I thank God it awakened people to seek truth and see through the lies and deceptions.
I needed to hear these words! I am passing through a pressure season now. I asker for the LORD not to stop doing what HE is doing inside of me. Even if it hurts and my body feels the back pain. I'm here waiting and thanking until HE FINISHES using the pressure to come out the darkness that are hidden inside of me and demolish their structures! I want to be a JESUS'S friend. I want to be approved by the FATHER. I WANT TO HAVE A HONEST relationship with JESUS. Thanks Melissa for passing through every trial and giving your testimony to glorify HIM! Greetings from Quito -Ecuador!
Melissa I was listening to "Catch the Wind" somewhere I think 2017/2018 when I was pregnant with my second daughter who is called "Hope". While I was listening to your song, God spoke in my heart and I heard...the child in you is "Hope." I started crying and my husband came in and asked what was up. I told him what I think I heard and he got emotional because he said look what I made you and he came out with a teacup that had the words "Hope" on it. I always wondered why I heard that because I don't think that song has the word "Hope" in. Now I understand ...it is because "Hope" has been formed in you as well. Thank you
Hi, God has spoken to my heart so powerfully throught your ministry, Melissa & Jonathan, that I just wanna say thank you for serving God and showing his love and true here on UA-cam because people like me even living so far away from you can hear and can believe in the power of God again and to come back to the church and to a living of christian service again (my case). May God could always use your ministry here on youtube to all of us be blessed and full of the word of God! 🇧🇷
This was a really hard message for me, and also a really important one, I think. I'm glad that it was Melissa sharing it, because I know that what she has been through has been a lot more trying than the things I have been dealing with. Thank you, Melissa, for sharing what you have been through and what you learned from the Lord in the process. I needed to hear it, even if it was hard and frustrating to hear. I believe much good will come of it.
I know more now about my whole life and I've only been reborn saved new Christian for a year! I am prophesying I am already fasting and prayer I am listening and learning from online churches and teachers!¡!
There was a woman that came into our Healing Rooms, that had tried everything to get healed. Even the way she arrived to the healing rooms is a miracle. As we helped the team intercede for this woman's soul...We were in prayer outside the room she was getting prayer in and one of my sister's in Christ, says I think you need to worship...I asked Holy Spirit what song should we sing Lord?, and clear as day, He says, "Oh, Raise a Hallelujah! I love that song" without skipping a beat 😂😂😂. So I began and the rest followed, and in between the worship we could hear this thing(s) say, "Tell, them to shut up, Tell, them to stop!!" This woman got delivered of 25 demons that night prayer went into morning. 💞🤗😂😂😂
Thank you for being with me at the moment I took my first breath of air. Thank you for giving me two loving parents that nurtured me as a child, and thank you for blessing me with a wonderful family. I love you not only because you’re my God, but because you give me everything I need in order to live out my dreams. Thank You!
This is great. I've learned about sickness and healing in my last years, that HE is LORD above it all. There is no authority above him, He is who He is and that gives me such a peace in my heart... to know that the ultimate goal of everything in life is not just get healed from our sickness but to fall in awe and in love with Him. That him would recieve the glory in us, that him would make us more like Jesus. That him would be everything that we need, that him would be enough to us, even in time of sickness, poverty and pain. It's a profound understanding of the Lord, and only being in the fire with an open heart can bring this maturity.

Ahhhhh... more pressure. His word-play... fixes everything. Shortens the time it takes to understand something. Gets through our defenses. Praise Him... always in awe... Continuing to listen! 😁
Hearing her definition of "the FEAR of the Lord" doesn't make sense to me simply because that's not the actual definition of the word FEAR. So if what she's saying is the actual interpretation of that scripture, it needs to be changed from FEAR in the Bible verse. Fear carries with it anxiety and anticipation of harm. That doesn't make people trust God, especially people with trauma experience.
Yes! The fear of the Lord and the fear of the world are two different terms. Fear in the context of culture alludes to all which you’ve mentioned regarding harm, anxiety, etc. Fear in the context of the Bible alludes to the reverence of who God is. As believers who are aware of this distinction, it is our job to partner with the Holy Spirit when explaining it to those who’ve experienced trauma through worldly fear 🤍. I think that because Melissa was speaking to a conference of worship leaders, she didn’t make this clarification since many were already aware of what she meant :)
@@deborah6777 I understand what you're saying, but words have specific meanings. If pastors or speakers have to continually say, "but in the Greek, this means.. ." Or "in the Bible fear means", there's a problem because language needs to be clear. Fear has an actual definition. It should not mean something different in Biblical context. If the word fear does not adequately describe what we should be feeling, say, reference, then the word fear simply should not be used.
@@todrapayne Our worldly understanding of fear does not adequately describe what true fear is-the fear of the Lord, because human nature and culture will always counter that which pertains to God. As this is the case, there will always be contradictions between our worldly understanding of terms when compared to that of kingdom nature. Based on your latter comment-what the world defines as love oftentimes alludes to lust. Should we then stop using the term “love” when teaching since Godly love means something different than that which culture knows? If anything, these contradictions show how great He is because Biblical fear and love are so drastically different from that which the world offers. I mean no harm in either of my responses, just wanted to comment since you initially stated that you didn’t understand why she was using the word “fear”. Have a great day :)
@@deborah6777 Thank you for responding. I can tell in your tone that your goal is to discuss, not argue. I appreciate that. I feel the same. I do believe your comparison of love and lust isn't quite the same as the discussion with fear. Love does not mean lust, as you've said. The definition of love is (or should be) clear. Because people confuse lust for love is a problem with society. Fear and Love have actual meanings. It should not be about our misguided interpretation of those words. The words themselves have meaning. Fear is fear, whether in the Bible or not. If the word means respect and reverence as I've often heard it described in sermons, that is incredibly different from fear. Language serves a purpose and when we make language contingent on interpretation filtered through spiritual text, it becomes inaccessible or confusing to people who know the meaning of the word in its true sense. I'm a believer, by the way.
