In the Gotham universe Batman and Hugo Strange's enmity will be more personal than it's ever been since in Gotham Hugo Strange was the one who hired Matches Malone to kill Thomas and Martha Wayne in revenge for Thomas shutting down his sick experiments at Pinewood Farms and freeing the test subjects. And it'll be ironic if Hugo develops the same obsession with becoming Batman he has in the comics and the Arkham games because he'll want to become the very hero he helped create.

Hugo Strange is actually my favorite Batman Villain. All the versions especially The Gotham Version.
