Great video guys! Just found you and look forward to your adventures! Cheers Chris and Jim !
Hello and welcome!!!!! That you for kind words and for coming along!
Looks like a beautiful place to visit love the cathedral such beautiful architecture in Spain. I’m impressed with the high views we’re getting
Roof top and tower views such beauty.
You can have the wine but the food looks delish.
Look foreword to seeing more. Love y’all ❤️ travel safe.
The scenery is beautiful, no snails for me ❤
Malaga is beautiful!!!!! The snails??? Not so much 😂
We are going to Malaga in early March 2024. - about 10 days altogether.. Wondering about the weather. Also wondering about takiing the train to Madrid for a couple of those days. Glad to hear we don't need to speak Spanish. Did you guys speak mostly Spanish or English during your visit? Thanks!
We spoke a mix of English and Spanish… we are not fluent by any means! But we made the effort… Malaga gets really hot in the summer but is pretty decent the rest of the time! Train station will definitely get you to Madrid or anywhere else you want to go!!!!! Thank you for watching and enjoy your trip!!!!!
I love the stained glass in the market. No overseas travel here. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Thank you for watching Deborah! The stained glass in the market is so cool! Plus all the food it was one of our favorite places to visit!!!
Catching up on your amazing videos, hope you both are doing great. Are you coming to Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you so much Helen!!!! We missed you :) not in the near future but we are hoping soon!!!
Eeeeeew you lost me at oysters way before the snails. Wow you are living a dream. We really appreciate you taking us along. It is so interesting and beautiful. You can keep the slimy stuff though.
Amazing all around, but especially for a Sunday afternoon (for me)! Beautiful architect but at the market I would choose the cherries over the snails. Thanks for sharing your travels, be safe.
We ate quite a bit of the cherries while we were there!!! The prices at the market are very reasonable and we took advantage!!! Thank you for your support TJ!!!
Can I get around okay if I don't speak any Spanish? Im 27 and looking to take my first trip out of the US to either Malaga or Valencia but only thing im hesitant about is the language.
Absolutely!!! The majority of the folks in Malaga do speak English!!!! Not sure about Valencia… we always find that just being nice goes a long way in understanding!!!!
I've never been to Malaga. I saw a copy of a Picasso once though.
Aren’t we all just a copy of a Picasso???
A month in Malaga.....lucky you! The Cathedral is absolutely beautiful. I never knew you could go on a rooftop tour. I would be drunk if i went to that wine bar.😂 That market has an amazing choice of food but sea snail yuck. The Castle Gardens are beautiful.❤❤
Malaga has so much history and beauty!!! The wine was strong so one was enough for us!!! 😂 The sea snail is as tasty just not.. pretty!!! Thank you Lorna!!!
Going to malag 23rd September staying at melia costa del sol, and tips?
We didn’t make it over there unfortunately… the good news is there’s a pretty inexpensive train that runs between the city! Eat everything you can would be our advice! Amazing seafood and other delights… enjoy your visit!
Not sure if you like shopping but if you do. In Malaga there is big shopping center. It is like walking down streets. Plaza mayor. Connected to it is a big shopping center with only outlet stores. Definitely go there if you are looking for good sales (:
Do you like second hand shopping? I have a list of second hand stores al walking distance from each other in Malaga centre.
Torremolinos is has a smaller shopping street. With great cafes to eat something small/ drink something refreshing. If you want I can ask my friend for a place you can eat for cheap? You can walk down the stair the the boulevard. From there you can walk all the way down to benalmaldena puerto. There are good restaurants and a small place where you can give food to fishes. I recommend the all you can eat sushi place “inasia”. For something a little more entertaining “Sakura” is a fun place. For something a little more expensive, nice vibe and cocktails. “Moodz” the food there is amazing.
I don’t recommend the all you can eat Asian food place . I cannot find the name but it is near Sakura. It does have a nice view but the food is not good enough for the price that they are asking. It used to be better when I was young.
On the main road more up. A Mexican restaurant “kaktus” the food is great and the people very nice. I am not sure if it open. Last time I drove by it looked closed but it is possible they where on vacation.
For Indian food I recommend spice grill torremolinos and India gate. Both very delicious.
If you are looking to buy cosmetics I recommend druni. It is cheaper then buying it from the farmacia. (Shampoo etc) some things are also cheaper in Spain. In comparison with the Nederlands cerave and Clinique are way cheaper.
For pizza la fragata de tito. You can also order your pizza for take away there.
Paella is very good at casa juan. It is very busy so be there early.
For a nice lunch I reccomend casa Beense.
Not sure if you are still there. If you want I can dig further in my brain for recommendations. I have lived near carihuela when i was young and went on vacation many times. My mother lives in the mountains now so I visit often.
She has done a walking tour and went to see a castle. If you want I can ask for the names in case you want to do more then eating and shopping (:
Drove through Malaga once… now I want to go and spend more time!
What is older? Cadiz or Malaga?
Cadiz is older! We didn’t know how old Malaga was until we did a little bit of research! Thank you for joining us Jeremy! It’s definitely worth a visit!
@@WanderfulRevolution always enjoy your videos and perspective!
Hoy, no hace 500 años😅
You're brave to eat those sea snails!
I made Sandy try them first!!!! 😂 😂 😂

I’m going to Malaga in 2 weeks, my Dad thinks I’m going to get my organs harvested..
No worries! We went with 4 kidneys and came back with three! But seriously it’s one of the safest cities in all of Spain… enjoy!
Jajajajaja
