Sabres fan, I've never watched this brawl from the Ottawa feed before, so that was interesting! I miss the good ol days of the Sabres and hockey in general. It was clearly Ray Emery's dream to get into a goalie brawl in the NHL, I'm glad Marty Biron gave him the opportunity to live out that dream.

Martin Biron recently talked about this and he said that, right before they locked up, Emery said, :"Just stay calm. I'm not really going to punch you." and he meant it in a good way. Being a former boxer, he knew it wasn't a fair fight and laid off. So, credit to Emery. RIP

My dad worked as Senior Sales Manager for the Sens, we watched it live, we also watched Ottawa go to the cup after Alfies OT goal, we wrecked the living room because we got up so fast to cheer we tipped the table over and spilled coca cola and popcorn all over the floor, my mom was pissed lmao
