Many characters don't actually require niche tricks to beat, they just require better knowledge of mechanics than your opponent. So in essentiality, the biggest hard counter to any character is simply being better than your opponent. (and not using megumi)

INoctAltIII and my counter is that a Mahito user will always try and ragdoll you far away then use the worm move, so if you get ragdolled far away and the Mahito doesn’t close the distance it’s a safe bet it wants to use worm. To quickly cancel the move, evasive dash out ragdoll towards it then forward dash (only if it’s charging up worm). This is really useful since manji kick and Hakari’s special can’t counter the worm, and if a Mahito gets you close to the edge of the map it can actually worm you through the wall out of the map, so never fight a Mahito near the edge and never let it worm. Not really a counter more like a tip but I don’t think it matters too much lmao

Gojo is the most braindead character. 1 m1 confirms all 4 moves after ragdoll cancel is exhausted. Teleport makes the m1s easy to land off, and shuts down any aerial counterplay. One wrong guess with gojo and you lose.

If you´re fighting an itadori while you´re also itadori, you both have awakening and the enemy uses first, use your own awakening as well, if they try to trap you in their domain just use world cut slash and it will 1 shot em (if they don´t have full hp when activating the ult), if they manage to still have some hp left, just try and get closer to spam m1s and R. Also this is not a counter for a specific character, but if you´re getting teamed on (and you don´t feel like doing a 3v1) you can just abuse the climbing to get out of combos, try climbing the blue towers, and if you´re pretty near them just get in the middle so they waste their moves in their own team. Using itadori or megumi makes it easier since itadori has the parkour climb and megumi has nue and toad with wings. Another fun fact (that maybe a lot of ppl knows but if someone doesn´t here it is), but if u have gojo with awaken charged u can destroy any domain (hakari domain preferably) so no jackpot for them (purple goes brrrr). Sometimes it saves you a lot of dmg and helps you counter the move pretty effectively Against Hakari: fever breaker has enough windup time to either counter or dash as we do whit rapid punches, so exploit it when you can, combos whit fever breaker are always untrue if you have evasive or they don’t uppercut/down kick.
You can bait Body Repel by walking into one side and then jump and side dash to the other side, this is effective most of the time, you can also side dash to dodge the air Stockpile, the normal Stockpile and the Focus Strike when you are in ragdoll, that leave mahito and you in neutral or leaves you in advantage frames

It's actually easier to dodge a fuga as Megumi if you ride Nue to dodge rather than trying to really on your special(just don't point it at the person using fuga), also Megumi actually works as a hard counter to Mahito as divine dog and nue can easily cancel his rushing moves, and toad can cancel body repel

another tip for hakari, his reverse ball variant can be used on ragdolled people and can still be a combo extender if you hit a dash e.g 4 m1s, reverse ball shutter doors variant, dash and continue reverse ball up close can also be used with rough energy against the ragdoll from reverse ball ragdoll time e.g 3 m1s, reverse ball, side dash and rough energy
Thing is for gojo's air thing, if you're low enough or close enough to a surface or the opponent is not that skilled, or they already used their special and it's on cooldown and would combo with red from the ground instead, then you'd want to do the dash

I notice that while mahoraga can be countered by distance, he can also be countered by aggression, the priority that your m1's get on wakeup is good for stuffing out mahoraga attacks, as they don't really back off when you're ragdolled, even if they have no moves -Butterbubbb
sandsrng gojo is by far the easiest one to counter imo, anytime you see flashing colors just press F and you're chilling. Only move(s) you should even be slightly concerned about is rapid punches and his neutral special, this is coming from a hard gojo main😭
I know another counter to hakari: when in his ult 90% of the time. People use his R move which is rhythym.. its super ez to counter cuz he cant do anything while hes using his R and you can just dash or use a ranged moved to him and he will not get the speed buff A counter to Megumi: His Drake Snake can be countered with manji kick (i think) and his elephant can also be countered so dont even worry a bit when fighting a megumi A counter to mahito: block as long as you can bcuz all of his moves are blockable (except for the worm) and his R variants can be blocked as well and when hes in ult just try to run cuz his moves can easily one shot you OR use ranged moves A counter to mahoraga: stalling his Ritual is too ez since you can just spam with megumi or do slow combos with hakari and yuji or gojo just pop ult

Yo, fun combo to do with megumi (enemy evasive should be used or else this wont be executed quite properly): -Aerial Toad -Rabbit escape (This will stun them or make them into a slowfall effect) -Nue It's not really effective, but it's fun as hell to execute, like the kyoto. This also resembles the Megumi vs Sukuna fight, except the snake is the flying toads. Edit: also for the teamers out there, the other one should be gojo, and when you used toad+nue then rabbit escape, don't use nue, use the gojo special to do an aerial kick, THEN maybe should you use nue. Do what you will with this information.

As someone who is knowledgeable in this game, the best way to avoid hakari ult is just to juke using wall jumps as roof camping means he can get to you so juking is a good option. The best option is to run for the blue towers and climb the ladder as they can’t get you if you do that
A hard counter for hakari might be mahito cuz you can cancel most/all of his moves when he is in his ult with 4 and 3, also these moves can be used to zone a hakari user in his domain.
All megumi users are just npcs so just block and counter them 😊 (kingokrish, early access.) You can also dodge hollow purple and. Red and blue by using gojos r and quickly turning your back towards them before ghe screen cracks so you teleport behind them

catkot626 You can counter vessel by dashing back to bait out their dash or dash move before dashing forward (back and front dashes have separate cooldowns) vessel also has 85 hp and relies on combo stun to survive so comboing him will do a lot
for hakari is just careful of the balls + shutter doors variant and block their dash and also 3 of the moes are blockable so just hod block until thye use 3rd move which has long startup so u can stun them if they dont m1 before
For 4:18 you can also use a tech that allows you to teleport behind an enemy. If you turn around using shift lock before the glass shattering effect with your teleport, you can teleport behind the Sukuna player to dodge the arrow. Edit: Forgot to mention that flame arrows hit box is large enough to reach behind a Sukuna player, so if you do this trick you need to time it right. Preferably you want to dodge right as the arrow is fired so that you don't get hit, but not too late or else the arrow will move in and hit you anyway.
Hiitadori, Megumi is super easy to counter!!!! Rabbit Escape, don't let them get u in a combo while they use it. Nue, dodge. (If you can't, that's a skill issue unless ur ragdolled) Frog, block. And Divine Dogs, counter, guard break, or run & spam! For the ult, as you said domains can counter the 1st move, and staying close up will prevent them from getting away to use their other moves. In other words, Hakari is perfect against an ult megumi!!!!
Epicultrale (I know this seems like a no brainer but) when Sukuna uses his Domain (Malovent Shrine) hold block so you take significantly less dps from the slashes.
the best counter is giving the enemy some backshots (unironically) just by getting behind gojo for example he turns into a punching bag. Blue doesn't reach you Red Misses all the time Rapid Punches is very easy to dodge And the Double Kick is very ass when the enemy isn't stunned lol MimSerRuim (Chrono)

if you hold block while an itadori is using m1's you can sometimes block their rapid punches, also some people dont seem to realise this but hakari ultimate special dosent give any I frames

There is one way to kill a jackpot hakari, you need Mahito domain and it should kill him once the bar is empty

Thing is for gojo's air thing, if you're low enough or close enough to a surface or the opponent is not that skilled, or they already used their special and it's on cooldown and would combo with red from the ground instead, then you'd want to do the dash

jadekituserpro, I think a counter for any character is, when they dash at you, backwards dash and click m1 to hit them and you won’t get hit either. (I did it once on accident lol)

I notice that while mahoraga can be countered by distance, he can also be countered by aggression, the priority that your m1's get on wakeup is good for stuffing out mahoraga attacks, as they don't really back off when you're ragdolled, even if they have no moves

gojo is by far the easiest one to counter imo, anytime you see flashing colors just press F and you're chilling. Only move(s) you should even be slightly concerned about is rapid punches and his neutral special, this is coming from a hard gojo main😭

I know another counter to hakari: when in his ult 90% of the time. People use his R move which is rhythym.. its super ez to counter cuz he cant do anything while hes using his R and you can just dash or use a ranged moved to him and he will not get the speed buff
A counter to Megumi: His Drake Snake can be countered with manji kick (i think) and his elephant can also be countered so dont even worry a bit when fighting a megumi
A counter to mahito: block as long as you can bcuz all of his moves are blockable (except for the worm) and his R variants can be blocked as well and when hes in ult just try to run cuz his moves can easily one shot you OR use ranged moves
A counter to mahoraga: stalling his Ritual is too ez since you can just spam with megumi or do slow combos with hakari and yuji or gojo just pop ult

For mahito, I recommend getting up close because body repel has a long windup, and if you hit him, it will be a free combo. (ChickennuggetNJ-Early access JJS)

Yo, fun combo to do with megumi (enemy evasive should be used or else this wont be executed quite properly):
-Aerial Toad
-Rabbit escape (This will stun them or make them into a slowfall effect)
-Nue
It's not really effective, but it's fun as hell to execute, like the kyoto. This also resembles the Megumi vs Sukuna fight, except the snake is the flying toads.
Edit: also for the teamers out there, the other one should be gojo, and when you used toad+nue then rabbit escape, don't use nue, use the gojo special to do an aerial kick, THEN maybe should you use nue. Do what you will with this information.
(Nyahkuuza) The best way to probably counter a jackpot hakari is gojo or itadori (ult or not,they still both do some damage and long combos which help draining his jackpot as he heals.)

You can cancel hakari third ult move by Toad. Also, third move hit guaranteed in the start and end, you can counter that in this time.
When a gojo uses lapse blue when near a wall or in a closed area, you can spam dash and dash away this will cause gojos teleport to not work and it will be a normal teleport instead of it kicking you down.

As someone who is knowledgeable in this game, the best way to avoid hakari ult is just to juke using wall jumps as roof camping means he can get to you so juking is a good option. The best option is to run for the blue towers and climb the ladder as they can’t get you if you do that

A hard counter for hakari might be mahito cuz you can cancel most/all of his moves when he is in his ult with 4 and 3, also these moves can be used to zone a hakari user in his domain.
Btw, you still can hit cursed strikes upon wake up, it just takes some more timing though.

All megumi users are just npcs so just block and counter them 😊 (kingokrish, early access.) You can also dodge hollow purple and. Red and blue by using gojos r and quickly turning your back towards them before ghe screen cracks so you teleport behind them

You can counter vessel by dashing back to bait out their dash or dash move before dashing forward (back and front dashes have separate cooldowns) vessel also has 85 hp and relies on combo stun to survive so comboing him will do a lot
For hakari ult use mahito ult it can negate its healing by just one tapping if you hit 1 twice or do domain as for base gojo the spam is immaculate
for hakari is just careful of the balls + shutter doors variant and block their dash and also 3 of the moes are blockable so just hod block until thye use 3rd move which has long startup so u can stun them if they dont m1 before
For 4:18 you can also use a tech that allows you to teleport behind an enemy. If you turn around using shift lock before the glass shattering effect with your teleport, you can teleport behind the Sukuna player to dodge the arrow.
Edit: Forgot to mention that flame arrows hit box is large enough to reach behind a Sukuna player, so if you do this trick you need to time it right. Preferably you want to dodge right as the arrow is fired so that you don't get hit, but not too late or else the arrow will move in and hit you anyway.
while using mahito use focus strike and r at the same time so you could knock them backwards and punsih them if they miss

For the ult, as you said domains can counter the 1st move, and staying close up will prevent them from getting away to use their other moves. In other words, Hakari is perfect against an ult megumi!!!!

Sukuna: try to m1 as much as possible and stun because most moves are cancellable/easy to dodge other than dismantle, megumi is good for this because of range

For Gojo: block his blue and red, and just combo when his ranged attacks are on cooldown, since that’s basically his whole combo gone.
2 yuji: idk, just don’t get hit by cursed strikes, that’s 50 percent of your health gone
3: Hakari: it’s hard I guess, but my best counter against it is just skill.
4: Megumi: he’s a zoner, just go close range.
5: Mahoraga: just get him in a cooldown, his ult bar will run out soon enough.
6: Mahito: play your cards carefully, when two of his ranged moves are on cooldown you can be a zoner to counter Mahito’s close range, vice versa with close range. (I have skill issue at this character, I do not know what I’m talking about lolol)

if you hold block while an itadori is using m1's you can sometimes block their rapid punches, also some people dont seem to realise this but hakari ultimate special dosent give any I frames
Ewartpro for giveaway the best way to counter way to counter hakari is by jumping since hakari moves aim forwards missing a lot of the time beside any upper cuts or using an rage character that work too
You can also counter the mahoraga world slash by using the hakari counter and i think the manji kick counter
