My tickets for Pearl Jam were stolen in 1994, I am from Boston and was supposed to see them at the Orpheum Theatre April 12 with backstage passes (gift from my mom). Fast forward 30 years later and I have never seen them as life got in the way with a million reasons. They are literally part of me and also a foundation for my love of music and also being a musician. I will be there in Vegas for both shows 5-16 and 5-18 fulfilling a lifetime dream.
Damn that’s a bummer. So sorry about those tickets and may whomever snatched them be suffering from vicious incontinence now. I was at the april 10 show at the garden and eddie was having a rough go at it considering what happened only a few days earlier. those touring years were wild and unforgettable. enjoy those vegas gigs!!! ✌🏼🤘🏼
That Orpheum show is legendary but don't sweat it man I havnt seen the band since 2003 I'm homeless and live off $130 a week I'm gonna go to the Moda center w $100 & hope for a ticket I hope that you get everything you want from the shows you see This new album has me excited I hope you are aswell
Are those shows at the Sphere by any chance? If so I'm booking a flight to vegas. They're really cheap out of Orlando Florida. The rest I will just wing it when I get there
I can't believe about EDDIE'S age. He is unbreakable in his moves and his voice is soooo pure and unchanged. A wonderful acoustic. Perfect show. PEARL JAM, my secret love so many years. Until the end of my life. Precious and magical. Thank you for presenting. Good luck to all 🍀👌👏🙏🤗❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Such a good song. Matt Cameron does a great job on this - keeps it simple - plays for the song just right. I love that ending - sounds a little like The Heartbreakers.
I love Pearl Jam since their 1st album.... Watching them perform is like watching "The Best Dad's Garage Band" in the world😎🤣😎🤣🤣.... Can't wait until Aug 29 @ Wrigley to see them again w/ wife & kids....
One of the lyrics and music I like most on the Dark Matter album! Congratulations👏👏👏 to everyone involved and, especially, to you Eddie with your incredible performance and voice. Love it ❤🇧🇷
THAT WAS AMAZING AND VERY BEAUTIFUL!! I LOVE THE NEW ALBUM DARK MATTER AND I LOVE THIS BAND, MY FAVORITE BAND ON THIS CRAZY PLANET!! THEIR GROWING OLD WITH US!! I'M SO PROUD OF PEARL JAM. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS AWESOME VIDEO!! 😊💓🤘✌️KEEP ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD PEARL JAM!!
I enjoyed the few tunes we heard from Gigaton in QC. Ed said we'd hear some loose tunes and some tight ones. The Gigaton tunes were the TIGHT ones and sounded AMAZING with Klinghoffers touches and man with all the GREAT NEW TUNES on Dark Matter, the folks seeing these shows are in for freaking treat if they keep up with setlists like this. Starting with WASH!!! IDA been in tears from the start
Soldout Moda Center gig is tomorrow I'm gonna hop the Maxline early n hope for a miracle I do alotta good deeds n I've been putting alotta energy into helping people eat n just trying to make people struggling feel at ease I believe this is gonna kick back down to me I believe I believe We will see ❤
Dark Matter is awesome. Here are my PJ Album rankings as of this writing. Yield VS No Code Ten Vitalogy Riot Act Pearl Jam Dark Matter Binaural Lightning Bolt Gigaton Backspacer
Eddie took a break from playing guitar because he has a wrist injury or something. Josh played in Eddie’s solo band (Earthlings) so PJ took him on a tour.
Feel like dark matter is kind of a watered down pearl jam, doesn't hit as hard or have the same impact as some of their previous work still a solid album but feel like it could've been something more!
They’re old and things change. Jeff is turning 62; Ed 60. Some of the songs still pack a punch on DM but the Watt mix is over-compressed and many people don’t love the recording. Some think it’s great. They def got with him to try and help them be PJ again (at least that’s my theory). It’s not 1994 anymore. I mean, I wish it was…but that was 30 years ago, and once you’re writing sappy songs about your kids growing up (“Something Special”), it’s just a different era of the band. Eddie himself recently said he think they have 1-2 records left.
It’s a solid album for sure. Honestly though, I get it. Not sure if it’s me or the band though. Music in general just doesn’t hit me as hard in my 40s as it did my 20s. I’m much happier in my 40s, so it serves as less of an antidote. That said, I think Dark Matter is up there with their best. I just don’t attach to the songs like I used to, so the experience I once had with the music is diminished a bit. I’m not ready to knock that band for that. I think this happens to a lot of people and they don’t realize it. Music will never be as good to them as it was in high school, etc. when it was easier for them to emotionally connect to.
Dark Matter is a quality album with some great songs. “Scared of Fear”, “Running”, “Setting Sun”, “Waiting for Stevie”, just to name a few standouts. Yet it still amazes me that with band members in their 60’s, who’ve been at this for over 30 years, people are still looking for them to put out another “Vs” or “Ten”. They’ve evolved, as most bands do, and have given us great music in the process, but it often gets overlooked because people want them to be what they were decades ago. Maybe it’s mainly the younger crowd, as they’ve yet to realize what 33 years of dealing with life does to you. Hopefully they will one day when they’re 60 and look back to their 20’s and realize no one is the same.

Muchas gracias desde España 😊
thank you for sharing this, awesome
Thank you Mike for posting these. I was unable to go to any shows this time, so this is 2nd best. Appreciate it so much!
Thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks Mike, for posting these videos. 👊🏽🤘🏽
I'll be in Vegas, can't wait!!
Are those shows at the sphere? Or is it at that hockey arena?
Great video even with the zoom on Mike during a Stone solo
So Stone has three songs with solos/leads on the record! This one (even though Mike does the main leads in the song), Setting Sun, and Got to Give
Sounds great. Thanks for sharing
Reminds me of Estranged, when you don't want to let go, but you"ll have to
Sounds great!
Dude can sing
🖤
Go, Jeff and Mike !!
🤙🌍❤️🩹 THANK YOU!!!
Thanks ❤
*I think I see Josh back there!*
This album is their greatest one since Vitalogy.

Are they still good live. Anybody at the show?
Why Is there another Guitar behind? 🤔
Josh is part of the band now
Eddie took a break from playing guitar because he has a wrist injury or something. Josh played in Eddie’s solo band (Earthlings) so PJ took him on a tour.
Nice getting older together 😂
A question for experts: what Josh is doing? Playing the same notes of the others two guitars?
Notice Ed has no guitar
@@oceansjenny Not Ed, Josh Klinghoffer behind the set with headphones...
@@RobsonRSilva-sh2mu
Yeah, but before Ed was playing the guitar. Get it?
Ed's guitar it seems, as well as keyboards.
This song the Key is open G.
did they play waiting for stevie?
No. Hopefully on night 2.
So how many of you could tell everything in the song without reading the lyrics sheet
#ChrisCornell wreckage he left behind
Love his music. Wish he was a little more smart politically and more wise at politics, and not for the WEF and Globalist Elites. But love his voice.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉😂😂😂😂🎉😂😂😂🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂
The live version sounds so much better...the album version just too polished
The last couple albums were duds but this one seems good.
Zzz...

I don’t even think it’s the songs. It’s more them for being old now. The energy of their youth is just not there anymore. Happens to all bands.

It’s not Watt, it’s Serban Ghenea, the same guy that has mixed records for artists like Beck, Weekend and Taylor Swift…
