Turn unit off but also unplug the unit always
Literally just opened a new one with an E6 code.

Do your research before purchasing this dehumidifier, common problem E4 code .. low refrigerant and is unserviceable… how long do you think this very expensive unit should last , I would think 5-8 years past the warranty… low refrigerant should be covered for life of the unit …. Though it is unserviceable and if warranty won’t cover, its trash .. it’s not like replacing a part that can be fixed …. Low refrigerant and is UNSERVICEABLE…….TRASH… if it is not warranted…. Do your research before buying this brand ….
