- colour footage of Byron Nelson- these swings are from well after Byron retired from competitive golf but they show he never lost the dynamics for a controlled functioning dynamic golf swing

Nelson didn't pivot his left heel much, restricting his turn. This led to his dipping motion through the ball to gain clubhead speed. Tiger Woods does the same, but less pronounced. Dipping on downswing.
Grand Master. Flying elbow on a short backswing. Massive head dip. Incredible and unique knee drive. Beautiful, slingy shallowing of the club in transition.
It's dawning on me how Byron's swing is like Moe's and Ben's put together. The traditional setup of Ben, but with the Moe extension down the line follow-through.
Knew about the dip in his swing, never realized he dragged his right foot a lot on the follow thru...
Henrik stenson reminds me of Byron’s swing. Wonder if he was a fan of iron Byron?!
He doesn't look like knudson or hogan. Pause at 16 seconds to look at his post-impact positions. He is flinging out down the line, not cutting left and holding lag. Not saying it's not a good swing, but it's wrong to say he swings like knudson or hogan who are known for how low and left they are post impact.
Takeaway to impact is total Knudson. The foot drag is a compensation for not being as flexible as Knudson.
Iron Byron!
That is 100% George Knudson’s swing.
Little Scheffler in that right foot
No it would be that Sheffler looks a little like Nelson.
looks like knudson and hogan rolled into one!
