Hi, im a battle cats veteran, at this point ive beaten everything so far (the game is still being uptadeted) and i have to say, it gets much more fun further on, it also gets insanely dificult. Im happy you liked it, you would defenetly like the rest of the game too. It does take years on average to enter late game. It has 600+ enemies and a ton of cats that look super cool.
If you don’t like BTD5, I highly recommend playing the 6th one. It’s way better and has a lot more of a charm to it than the 5th. It’s a very good game and I recommend it!
When we think of the golden age of mobile games, we imagine things like angry birds, cut the rope, jetpack joyride, etc. But let’s be honest, you likely have a few mobile games in your memory that sometimes, you feel like the only person in the universe who remembers it exists. It makes it even more painful because you have no one to relate your memories with.
DragonVale has some of the best character designs with their dragons, excellent park building tools, and stunning music. It’s a long term game that really is something great.
If you make a part 3 you HAVE TO include Clumsy Ninja. It was the og virtual pet game and the best. I really do feel bad for the ninja because i could never properly commit to it but it was still such a major part of my childhood
I'd be interested to see a video on more modern instant classic mobile apps! My suggestions: - Alto's Adventure - Tomb of the Mask - Monument Valley (paid) - The Bonfire - Idle Apocalypse (The whole company has excellent games here but this is their shining star) - Toss the Turtle (old but newer to be added to mobile) All are very different in gameplay and genre and imho immediate hit classics. Worth checking out even on your own time if not for a video!
So cool to see you including games I suggested! If you are planning to make a 3rd part, you can include the Deer Hunter 2014 (it was actually released in 2013, lol). As far as I know, this game was pretty popular, at the very end my friends and I used to play it a lot, cuz there definitely was something! Also! For the love of God! Include the Robbery Bob! Dude, this game W A S so awesome. Idk how cool it is now but back than it was perfectlt perfect! Drive a Head (or whatever way it is named) is also really cool, it was so much fun playing it with classmates. I guess I'll be able to come up with more of such games so. PS you may also try including the trollface games. The first parts were interesting, but the game quickly stagneted PS2 I've recalled the game named "Into the Dead". I reckon this one is not that popular, but if YOU played it, don't forget to include it ;)
I beat the game with like no knowledge of the strategy and I didn’t buy any of the power-ups. Now that I’m at the harder post-game levels, I’m getting my behind absolutely railed by those god damn immortal ghost knights and basically every other enemy. I’ve been getting better at the strategy, but I’ve only three-star’d the first battles of the hellish area, the green poison forest, the undead village and the snow spider lair
the battle cats was my favorite game ever for awhile, i even got deep into the community, debating thints like what is the best uber, ranking ubers in banners and a lot more. ngl the game is incredible
I actually held the world record in Mega Jump because i found a glitch where you could play infinitely by just holding your phone sideways. See, the game knew that you’d always hit the platforms/coins by doing this, so the devs added in a wall of anvils to stop you if it detected you doing so. With the fully upgraded magnet power-up that sucked coins and other items towards you, as well as the one that gave you a boost whenever you consumed something (there might have been other power-ups, i don’t remember) I was able to bypass this and continue on indefinitely. They never patched this so i’m surprised i held onto the record until the game got shut down. Come to think of it there must have been way more power-ups involved seeing as seemingly no one ever replicated my strat lol
The next tier list of mobile games should have Rope Rescue (the one with rescuing birds, not that other new one that's been floating around). That one is a really fun underrated classic in my opinion, surprised it never took off the same way games like Cut the Rope and Temple Run did. Sadly it doesn't work on new android devices but you can still get it on a Roku device. I'd like to hear what you think of it if you haven't already played it.
Zombie Catcher should be in the next one. It has a great mix of idle and active gameplay, a neat art style, and character designs, It feels iconic (at least for me), and the "Equipment" feel amazing to use and worth the long journey to get them all. Just re-downloaded this one and I think it deserves S tier. And you know what, It would be great if you rank all the zombies (if you want to).
There are so many classic games that I used to play and still love and cherish that I wish could be added to these videos such as Banana Kong, Original Cartoon Wars, and the many games that followed, The Incident, Cookie Clicker, Tiny Defense, Kingdom Rush was fantastic, Ant Hill, Pixel Gun 3D, Leo's Fortune, Tentacles, Soosiz, Star Command, and Draw Classic are all the games I remember playing as a kid. Most of them were played on the bus to school with my best friend!
Thank you for a great list. There were some other excellent games like NinJump, Kingdom Rush, Fieldrunners, Indestructible, Death Rally, The Last Driver, Gravity Guy, Gun Bros, Boson X, Duet, Ice Rage, Super Hexagon, Death Worm, Grabatron, Age of Wind. Also you could make a list of heavier games like Infinity Blade, Galaxy on Fire 2, N.Y.Zombies 2, Shadowgun, Six Guns.
The battle cats is probably one of the best mobile games I've ever played. There is so much content, and early game is a nice breather and a good chance for free loot, then the challenges get a lot more difficult later on. It's such a good game I could babble on about it for days, but my thumbs hurt so I'll be back tomorrow.
I know that you said you scratched only the surface of the battle cats but i just wanted to tell you that they have a youtube channel that posts about updates and events pretty frequently
Bro you reminded me about Smash Hit and World of Goo. I loved both those games with an intense passion. I remember sinking countless hours into Smash Hit to where I could always get very far. And World of Goo is such a great game too. It starts off just looking stupid and funny but it becomes super difficult and the story is surprisingly deep. Thanks for the reminder!
more classic games that MUST HAVE a spot in your tier lists (seriously dude, how you dare you): zombie tsunami, color switch, dead trigger 2, the anrgy birds variations (epic, especially), bad piggies, pou, beach buggy racing, pixel gun, earn to die, taco master, minecraft pocket edition, 8 ball pool, banana kong, piano tiles, hay day, talking tom, mobile roblox, NYAN CAT...
Oh my god, I loved the Fred games! It’s very unfortunate that the falling ones were removed. Running Fred needs to have a resurgence. ALSO WHAT THEY’RE FINALLY MAKING THAT NEW LEVEL OMIGODOMIGODOMIGOD
Just stumbled across your channel randomly in my recommended and was shocked to see how well put together this video is. Very entertaining and organized. Keep up the good work👍
As someone who completed all of battle cats, I can confidently say that you were correct in putting it in S tier. It's still getting huge, frequent updates even after 8 years.
Some suggestions: -My talking Tom. -Incredibox -Akinator -Minecraft pocket edition (if you’re gonna include geometry dash then I guess Minecraft makes sense.) -tomb of the mask -zombie tsunami -red ball -snail bob -Mario run -kick the buddy -bitlife
Megajump was done so dirty I can't believe this. I love doodle jump and all but it just cant beat megajump. The style and powerups before they updated everything I remember being so nice, and the backgrounds that would phase into each other for the next level level were motivators to keep going
HydroTilt XL was such a good game. Also there's classic games such as Edge, JellyCar, Spore Origins, MetalWars, PewPew, Super Mega Worm, Fantastic Contraption 2, I Love Katamari, Bounce On, etc.
Great video dude! If you end up doing a part 3, Don't Tap the White Tiles was probably the game I played most on my phone, idk if there was actually that much to it in retrospect but I've got fond memories all the same! There's also Neko Atsume but idk if that counts hahaha
The main thing about Office Jerk was that, to me, it *used* to be more of an “S tier” game. Part of the problem with why I am iffy about this is the amount of updates that really minimized or limited the game. For instance, breaking the monitor in early versions of the game gave one point each. Another one was the ability to change the fan’s wind speed by selecting different items. But the one that really made me upset was the late 2022 update where every single sponsored item was removed from the drawer of things you could throw at the man. That meant I couldn’t throw the letter bag or the paper airplane anymore, still don’t understand why they got rid of them. Also, in both videos, Labyrinth II by Illusion Labs wasn’t covered. Would love to see a take on that in the next part if you make a video on one. Still a solid video!
Really enjoyed the video a lot, even showed me many games I need to check out. I don't know if you already have them noted but for my childhood Dragon City, HayDay and Farm Story were a very big time consumer. Would love to see them on part 3!
@@Jake.Miller Well I'm kinda sad that Clash of Clans is only B Tier (I think my pfp says everything lol) but I can understand that it can get boring really quick. But like you already said it's so interesting to see who enjoys what and why. That's what makes us humans so special, everyone is different and it's so cool.
giving Battlecats an S tier honestly doesn't give it enough justice. It is so well made and absolutely bursting with content. On top of it all, there are no pop-up ads. Just the optional watchable ad to get some free stuff
Before you had the ability to watch ads to get as much cat food as you can until the ads would run out, now you can only get 5 per day so it’s kind of useless now. Atleast you can still use it to recharge some energy..
I honestly agree with the way you ranked rolling Sky it’s not too bad but it’s just 3d geometry dash but without the jump but at least the music is nice you gotta admit
when I was a kid, I convinced my mum that smash hit is a "smart game" because you have to calculate how much the balls will drop by depending on how far you throw them. And she bought it! I wasted so much time on that game.
Omg!! This time around so many of them I grew up playing and a lot of people I knew played it too during middle school, great sequel to the first video
I have a bunch of games I played as a kid that I've revisited recently. Froggy Jump (similar to doodle jump but there's powerups a bunch of cosmetics and different level themes that change up gameplay. Cliff Diving, a classic game where you try to get the best cliff jumps. The Ketchapp Olympic games, summer and winter games, where you gotta tap and sometimes hold the screen. PPAP, yes they made a game from that song and yes I played the hell out of it. The paper toss game you know the throwing into the trash can. Scoops though sadly it seems that game is unavailable in the play store though I can still play it on my ipod, it's like that burger game but with ice cream and also a burger version. There was dolphin play on my ipod but I can't find it again, it was an aquarium simulator thing
Paper toss, bitlife, ninjump, turtlefly, true skate, pottery, earn to die, !!!FLOW!!!, two dots, ballz. some of those are a little newer maybe not classics but all FIRE. Especially flow if you didn't already get the emphasis.
Haven’t seen all these recommended yet, but I remember enjoying: Zombieville USA Pocket Tanks Battleheart TapDefense Baseball Superstars Playman Track and Field Traffic rush (or your favorite donut game) Amateur surgeon Flight control Trenches Chop chop ninja Mr. Aahh! Flick home run Pocket mine Unsure how many are still on the App Store but figured I’d toss out some ideas!
I vaguely remember playing bejeweled on my family windows XP computer back when I wasn't even in kindergarten yet. Lowkey, I wouldn't call it a mobile game since it started on PC, but I agree with the placing because I played it recently and it wasn't as great as some others but it was still a little addicting.
That’s fair. I think there are a lot of games (like pvz) for example that aren’t REALLY mobile games but kinda feel more normal on mobile, if that makes sense
Here are my favorite mobile games as a kid: - Kingdom Rush - Little Inferno - Earn To Die 2 - Robbery Bob - Farm Frenzy - Zombie Road Trip - Clouds & Sheep - Farm Invasion - Aporkalypse - Mini Motor Racing - Tap Titans - Badland - That Level Again - Funky Smugglers - Crash Arena Turbo Stars

Yeah I only scratched the surface of it, but it seems very entertaining. Maybe I’ll have to play more of it!
@@Jake.Miller if you can it will be epic 👌
I know that you said you scratched only the surface of the battle cats but i just wanted to tell you that they have a youtube channel that posts about updates and events pretty frequently
You should add paper toss, ski safari, pocket frogs, minion rush, bad piggies
Thank you so much for this list, I wanna do all of these at some point!
wow I didn’t expect you to respond so fast!
I try to keep up with comments as best I can haha
where the hell is nyan cat lost in space?????
Maybe in part 3???
Bro you reminded me about Smash Hit and World of Goo. I loved both those games with an intense passion. I remember sinking countless hours into Smash Hit to where I could always get very far. And World of Goo is such a great game too. It starts off just looking stupid and funny but it becomes super difficult and the story is surprisingly deep. Thanks for the reminder!
Of course! I kinda forgot about em too until people suggested to cover them!
Yea i loved smash hit and i still do, i played it for the first time when it had 6 checkpoints or more
more classic games that MUST HAVE a spot in your tier lists (seriously dude, how you dare you): zombie tsunami, color switch, dead trigger 2, the anrgy birds variations (epic, especially), bad piggies, pou, beach buggy racing, pixel gun, earn to die, taco master, minecraft pocket edition, 8 ball pool, banana kong, piano tiles, hay day, talking tom, mobile roblox, NYAN CAT...
MINO MONSTERS
TOILET TIME
I’m so happy you played Shadow Fight 2. Honestly everything about this game is perfect. The soundtrack makes the game even better.
Just stumbled across your channel randomly in my recommended and was shocked to see how well put together this video is. Very entertaining and organized. Keep up the good work👍
Thank you so much! I got a lot of OTHER really well put together videos too **wink wink nudge nudge**
Man you did my boi Dragon Vale DIRTY, but you put hungry shark in S so I can’t complain too much
As someone who completed all of battle cats, I can confidently say that you were correct in putting it in S tier. It's still getting huge, frequent updates even after 8 years.
Yeah seems great to me
As someone who has completed ZL (up to now) I agree, is so much fun
Some suggestions:
-My talking Tom.
-Incredibox
-Akinator
-Minecraft pocket edition (if you’re gonna include geometry dash then I guess Minecraft makes sense.)
-tomb of the mask
-zombie tsunami
-red ball
-snail bob
-Mario run
-kick the buddy
-bitlife
Thanks for the list! I’ll reference it when I make the next one
@@Jake.Miller cool and thanks!
Agree list
Zombie farm, 100 doors(old version),gun N glory, age of war, jet pack joy ride,, kick the buddy just to name a few
CONGRATS ON THE SPONSOR 👑👑 skyburger was peak tho rip legend
Haha sorry sky burga
And thanks!
Yooo I just got a huge nostalgia rush when you mentioned pets. Did you ever play Pou? All of my classmates were addicted to it like crack
Clumsy ninja needs to be on here next time. It was so cool when I was a kid.
Also 8 ball pool is a huge classic
Megajump was done so dirty I can't believe this. I love doodle jump and all but it just cant beat megajump. The style and powerups before they updated everything I remember being so nice, and the backgrounds that would phase into each other for the next level level were motivators to keep going
HydroTilt XL was such a good game. Also there's classic games such as Edge, JellyCar, Spore Origins, MetalWars, PewPew, Super Mega Worm, Fantastic Contraption 2, I Love Katamari, Bounce On, etc.
After hearing your take on bloons they’ll be there in the next 2 days.
Who’s they???!!!
Great job ranking every new classic mobile game again and nice video man :]
Thank you! I appreciate it
@@Jake.Miller You welcome :]
absolutely cannot believe you didn't throw anything in the coffee cup on office jerk. best part of the game imo
Great video dude! If you end up doing a part 3, Don't Tap the White Tiles was probably the game I played most on my phone, idk if there was actually that much to it in retrospect but I've got fond memories all the same! There's also Neko Atsume but idk if that counts hahaha
Maybe if you make a 3rd one, you can include Piano Tiles! I remember playing that game A LOT as a kid!
Edit: Fragger was another one I played a lot.
I swear I thought I was the only one who knew some of these titles.
It's really sad that Swordigo was skipped over twice now; really hope it's added in the next list.
Yes people have asked for those but it’s always great to see what people want most! Thanks so much!
Hungry Shark is the peak of destruction games. So iconic.
My suggestion for part three - KINGDOM RUSH, honestly one of the best mobile games
I’ve seen a good amount of suggestions for that one, I guess I’ve got to
Field runners, impossible game, Paper toss, line rider. All classic games left out
I honestly agree with the way you ranked rolling Sky it’s not too bad but it’s just 3d geometry dash but without the jump but at least the music is nice you gotta admit
Ninjump and Paper Toss are ABSOLUTELY necessary for a part 3 !!
i yust cant believe how youtubers can stay seriouse while tlking about "RAID SHADOW LEGENDS" the awsome game where every add looks different XD
when I was a kid, I convinced my mum that smash hit is a "smart game" because you have to calculate how much the balls will drop by depending on how far you throw them. And she bought it! I wasted so much time on that game.
Dude, you do not wanna know how deep Battle Cats gets.
Like its an absolute PEAK game.
Well then I WOULD want to know wouldn’t I?
Battle cats has had me addicted for 7 years and I have never stopped loving it.
Also the ost is a banger
I'm sorry, 2 whole minutes for a sponsor? That's actually insane.
That wasn’t my decision trust me
Omg!! This time around so many of them I grew up playing and a lot of people I knew played it too during middle school, great sequel to the first video
Thank you!!
Bro this videos are the greatest and they give me so much nostalgia. Kick the buddy seems more recognizable than beat the boss though
Also zombie tsunami should have been there
Thanks! I plan to do these both in the next part!
I cant wait for the 3rd part is gonnabe asninvredible as the first 2 parts for sure
Kick the Buddy is some Gen Alpha stuff 💀
A couple of my favorites you haven’t mentioned is paper toss, Enigma and Rope’n’fly. All S-tier mobile games back in the iPod touch era
I’ve seen a couple of those but you have a pretty unique list haha. It’s always fun seeing the games people played I never even heard of!
@@Jake.Miller yeah, the first few I mentioned haven't changed a bit since I remember playing them
@@jess41269 that’s awesome!
Paper toss, bitlife, ninjump, turtlefly, true skate, pottery, earn to die, !!!FLOW!!!, two dots, ballz. some of those are a little newer maybe not classics but all FIRE. Especially flow if you didn't already get the emphasis.
Missing games:
Zombie Tsunami
Clash Royale
Earn to die 2
Pokemon Go
Cooking Fever
Magic Tiles
Flip Trickster
Kingdom Rush, Earn to die, Rodeo Stampede, Pixel Gun 3d, 8 ball pool, Rider, Dragon City, Burrito Bison, Boom Beach, Clash Royale...
Cow evolution, smashy road, agario, pou
Haven’t seen all these recommended yet, but I remember enjoying:
Zombieville USA
Pocket Tanks
Battleheart
TapDefense
Baseball Superstars
Playman Track and Field
Traffic rush (or your favorite donut game)
Amateur surgeon
Flight control
Trenches
Chop chop ninja
Mr. Aahh!
Flick home run
Pocket mine
Unsure how many are still on the App Store but figured I’d toss out some ideas!
White Tiles 4 is such a good game. Literally all you need to do is put your phone on airplane mode and you’re entertained for the next 45 ish minutes.
I remember grinding on Shadow Fight 2 when I was a kid.
if you do a part 3 PLEASE play banana kong. such a staple of my childhood
I probably will I love that game haha
Yeah that game is classic too!
Monster legends , marvel tournament, rodeo stampede, clash royale, Brawl stars ?
Banana Kong, paper io 2
Here are my favorite mobile games as a kid:
- Kingdom Rush
- Little Inferno
- Earn To Die 2
- Robbery Bob
- Farm Frenzy
- Zombie Road Trip
- Clouds & Sheep
- Farm Invasion
- Aporkalypse
- Mini Motor Racing
- Tap Titans
- Badland
- That Level Again
- Funky Smugglers
- Crash Arena Turbo Stars
If you planning to make part 3 you should put kingdom rush on tier list
