- Georgia woman Melody Walker Farris faces several criminal charges including malice murder and felony murder for allegedly killing her husband, Gary Farris, and torching his body in a burn pit. Police initially believed Gary had suffered a medical issue and then fell into a fire on his property, causing his death. But, investigators later discovered a bullet found in his rib bones, leading authorities to suspect foul play. A phone call between Melody and her lover allegedly proves she committed the crime. If convicted, Melody faces life in prison.

About This Channel
Hello To All And Welcome To My Channel. This Channel covers trials and criminal cases that are in the media. Justice is often looked at as an outcome. This is because the media and lawyers focus on Justice for the self serving purposes that apply to their interests. However. Justice is the process and it’s actually what makes our country the greatest on earth. We will be approaching cases from that perspective and looking at the process not the outcome to determine if justice has been served. My father was a renowned criminal defense attorney so I spent my childhood working in his law office and seeing the perspective of a defense attorney. I also got to see the justice system from the perspective of a family member of a criminal defendant as well. I have served on a jury (as foreperson) and have watched court for most of my life. It is through these experiences I bring a unique perspective to criminal cases and will share my thoughts and analysis on this channel!

I think MJ should also question what part/or what her stepson knew or hid when it come to Melody's and his participation or knowledge in her husband's murder. Something still doesn't sir right with me why MJ took so long to finally come forward. I know she feels shame on finding out about Melody's and Rusty's affair and MJ wants to be able to hold her head high in the community. I'm sure lots in the community knew what was likely going on between those 2 for years. Small towns gossip and I'm sure someone gossiped to MJ on what they knew or thought about Melody or Rusty.
Who is to say the nephew or other family didn't take this gun ? On the way to goodwill. There has been a lot of people in her home helping her throughout the years. Note to self: don't help anyone out of state regain their health.

Folks, recall that Melody Lou Who and the neighbor were texting and she stated “handgun” in the text between them.
I don’t know if it was a statement or a question. I believe Melody was referring to this handgun since Scott testified he saw it for the first time one week prior! I think she was signaling the neighbor that she now had the handgun needed to “put a stop to this once and for all” like she told Amanda!
She planned this entire murder. And she needed those boys to be there when Gary was “found”! Couldn’t be just her to find him. She shot Gary and placed him in the burn pile. The neighbor may have been the accomplice!!!
