    What I love about this movie, is that although she is somewhat paranoid from the abuse, she always trusted her own insticts when it came to knowing he was around her. Usually, in these kind of movies, the main character would notice something OBVIOUSLY weird and think they're going crazy. She know it's him and he's around and found a way to torment her.

    It's always fun seeing ppls reactions to the awkward angles and the strange camera pannings. The camera views kinda make the viewer paranoid like how Cecilia is. How she gets paranoid at everything because she can't see the invisible person so the camera movements kinda make the viewers paranoid as well. It makes u think something is there even if there isn't.

    • @spacebar9733

    One thing I just realized when she’s being attacked in the kitchen is that Adrian and his brother both were probably attacking together. Considering that he seemed able to lift her up with one arm while restraining her knife arm with the other arm. It makes more sense that the two brothers were doing it at the same time rather than he has super strength.

      @uggggggghhhhh Рік тому +3

      Yeah for some reason I was expecting an ending where he doesn't die or he does (or does he??...) and instead she lives on being afraid for the rest of her life due to the trauma because its a lot like what victims of abuse experience after since domestic abusers don't get life in prison. But I also enjoyed the girl boss moment they gave us for that lil dopamine rush lol

    • @spacebar9733
      @spacebar9733 Рік тому +16

      @@uggggggghhhhh I'm glad she had a happy ending. I know it's uncommon but we can definitely move past abuse. It gives you a reason to be better vs ppl who haven't experienced it have nothing to grow for. Not saying ppl deserve abuse, but growth is (VERY ARGUABLY) easier when you've been through really hard shit

    i doubt there would ever be an invisible woman sequel because "the look" that she had at the end of the movie is that of a relief. She had found closure from the horrible chapter of her life with her abusive ex-bf. All that's left after that is to recover physically and mentally from the trauma, no need for more of that invisible suit!

    • @SCPguy
      @SCPguy День тому

      Not to mention that it would be totally redundant of her character if she became a villain for a sequel, unless a sequel was made and she was a hero, but I don’t think they’ll do that. Blumhouse is too new of a company to fall into corporate greed

    I recently saw this movie and let me just say this movie has the BEST ending, especially for WOMEN who go through situations like this minus the science fiction! The main idea I think people need to take away from this movie is the fact that Adrian was indeed abusive which is why she fled away from him in hopes of gaining her freedom again and working on her mental health. However, they made sure to add elements of how a woman may seem like she is going crazy when dealing with trying to pick herself back up again after an unfortunate situation that will scar a person for life. Abuse = life trauma! Also, I like how the movie depicted when Adrian came back in the picture to attack her and Cee decided to finally put up a fight they made it look like Cee was paranoid, distraught, and delirious. Yes, we understand through context it is because she did not see him but another reason I speculated is that when women face abuse from men and start retaliating or responding sometimes women are seen as "overly emotional" or "doing too much" despite people KNOWING what they have experienced then it comes off as the WOMAN starts to become the problem. So, I like how Cee put up a fight and got her justice in the end...a reality many women do not get and if they do get justice by unaliving their aggressors or abusers they also have to pay the price for it which is really not fair in my opinion. What ever happened to people being true victims? Especially when it comes to abusers. The ending was SOOOO satisfying and I love how Cee did not let up on NEVER underestimating the type of "man" Adrian was becasue she knew him well enough to be a mastermind behind EVERYTHING! This confirms to us that Adrian really was that horrible to her, too smart for his own good, and seemed to always think steps ahead but Cee made sure she had the FINAL laugh after she had enough of his games. I think that is why so many people loved the movie even more because what else is better than a woman getting justice from an abusive man and NOT having to pay the price for it...amazing movie! ....oh and something I found interesting ..when you look at the scene when she went upstairs at 22:07 the background of Adrian's phone wallpaper is the SAME pattern found on the invisible suit which can also confirm that at one point of time it obviously WAS HIM in the suit before his brother did the rest of the dirty work.

    I love just how well it framed her as crazy. Obviously that's how others saw her, but up until a little past halfway thru the movie, if you suspended her disbelief, you can also see how its possible all the 'obvious proof' of Adrian being invisible and stalking her is her hallucinating, misremembering and planting evidence like a split personality. It could have been severe and sudden onset psychosis if it weren't real.
    In addition it has a uniquely satisfying ending. She was exonerated and it was proven that there was in fact an invisible man after her. She got a resolution and the truth about the suit and the violence was unveiled. But he got none of that, his entire end is entrenched in lies. People are left to believe the lie that his brother kidnapped him and the lie that he sliced his throat.

    Getting stabbed with the pen was enough to surprise/hurt Adrian but not do any major damage. It prob wouldn't be sharp, sturdy, or long enough to get very far through the skin/muscle tissue and between the ribs of a super fit guy like Adrian, especially in the pec region where she was hitting him. It probably sucked but he's not a superhuman for surviving it.

      No, she rightly should have the choice to not have her abuser's offspring. She rightly should have the choice to have nothing tied to him and what he did to her. Don't forget, that clump of cells was very likely created through r*pe. She shouldn't have to be saddled with the physical evidence & reminder of that. No way.

      The suit is literally a metaphor for all of that. Its the whole point of the movie.

      There IS a suit. The suit is not a metaphor it’s literally there… Adrian pulled off some optical feat of genius and that’s the plot…
      What are you on? 😂

      @@realSimoneCherie Do you not understand what a metaphor is?
      Metaphor: a thing regarded as representative or symbolic of something else, especially something abstract.
      A thing, the suit(and Adrian's use of it), is representing something else abstract, the PTSD and other effects of domestic violence.
