Just so people don’t make any more comments on the heals, the rogue literally left melee range with half hp to go distract another mob, he griefed himself. When you enter ony layer, patrols pat up and down the hallway and he for some reason decided to go out of range of the healers to go distract the other mob

The rogue soon after they started was the only casualty, the others “dying” were hunters using their ability Feign Death

The rogue hit 50% at 3:24 and died at 3:32... 8 seconds of no heals, its on him too though, coulda popped a pot or just ran out.
He was out of range. His job was to distract the pat so they have more time killing the other mob. A mistake was made, maybe to slow or it misses or something like that.

raiding as a hardcore rouge seems nuts.. I'm pretty sure back in the day rogues died most often in our classic raids.. you have to be so fucking careful. but come on healers. this wasn't necessary at all

I think it was way worse for warriors because rogues at least had a vanish but yeah as melee in classic you pretty much have to have lips to survive because warriors have no threat dropping spells!!! Melee classes are way more fun to dps then ranged in classic but oh man playing one on HC screw that lol!!!

It's because people who main Rogue are usually the most unprepared and reckless ones. They think they can do everything, relying on their endless cooldowns but then reality hits them like a truck on their face

The rogue got blasted as he moved towards the pat to distract, out of range from the healers since they stay ranged to avoid being blasted. He fails at distracting and pulls, getting blasted to death out of range.
He had to pot , if he wanted to go for distract. Healers were back.
The very first death on trash told me how those healers were. No one was OOR on the first trash. Shame.

Watching this video, that death was on the healers! He didnt get any heal at all, even though the entire raid was full health!

I have kids and a 150k a year job. I train sport dogs for igp. This weekend I’ll be doing a seminar training others. I play on horde side. I’m only 31 but I find time to play. I’ve played wow since closed beta that I got access through my premium fileplanet sub in 2003. So I guess you’re wrong?

Did you not listen to them, he went up to distract and he was alrdy half hp. He was in melee range so he got hit again with a fire nova and died, he was way out of range of his healers and tanks
Also if you’re to stupid to listen, might as well explain ony trash, before you go kill ony there’s big dragons that patrol up the hallway, they were alrdy fighting one and another one was coming, the rogue went further up and tried to distract the mob that was coming up, any melee going into those packs know first of all, you don’t do two at once, but if you get hit by fire you better get out

@@gregoswiler6127 regardless that whole situation could have been avoided had they just pulled that mob back. There was still so many raid members drinking and not even ready to fight that second mob. They chose to fight it mid way through and aggrod that other mob as a result. Death was completely avoidable.

Man i'm so torn on hardcore. This poor guy spent literal weeks of his life building that char, and its all gone in an instant to a freak aggro. I cant imagine how bad he feels right now. This is why I'm just gunna play retail. Ive spent about 2-3 days of playtime to get to a max lvl of 34, and I just cant justify starting over and investing all that time again. If you dont work a job and have free time to blow, or streaming is your job like Xar, then it doesnt feel as bad. If you're a dad working a 9-5 with 3-4 hours a day to play and this happens, its soul crushing.
I love watching the HC content but I just cant get into it seriously over retail, especially now that 10.1 is out and feeling very fun again. Hope Xar doesn't ditch retail entirely for HC and we get a balance of both games.
Melee shouldn't be fighting these mobs on HC its just not worth it for that reason right there also he should have walked out of range when he was at half heath! To defend him though from the time he took damage until he died was a full EIGHT seconds and he didn't get a single heal so its also kind of on the healers but that's why you don't go in as melee its just not worth it on HC!!!!
Also he could have literally healed himself, or taking a fire pot before going into the fight and if he did that he wouldn’t have died bc he would have absorbed the first aoe fire nova, don’t blame the healers when they did absolutely nothing wrong @bassplur12

Really as melee you shouldn't go in on those trash pulls just let ranged handle it! Also because so many other melee went in to attack I, think it was 9 people altogether, just made so much more work for the healers and potentially making it to where the tanks could die because the yare having to worry about the melee that SHOULDNT even be in there!! Oh yeah one more thing your 100% right with him being out of range and half HP why the hell didn't he fire pot or just run away!1 Think at the end of the day its just one of those things that you think about later and say what the hell was I thinking and we all have those moments lol!!!
