Very fun. Hocus Pocus. Yay
🤗
I like putting my epoxy in a zip lock bag and pipe it on. Its so much cleaner
Great tip! Thank you 😊
Do you still allow it to sit for 40-50 minutes first? Then you just snip a corner? Thank you for the tip!
@@ashleytarricone7680 yes. I leave it in the cup and test the consistency by getting some and putting it at the rim to see how runny it is. When it gets close to being ready I transfer it to the bag and use the little bit thats left in my cup to let me know when its at the consistency I want. I just get a little and scrape it at the top of my cup and see how fast it runs down. Once the left over reaches my desired consistency I snip the tip off the bag and pipe it on. I hope that made sense lol.
OMG!!! This is the best tip of the year!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING
@@Rvargas9193 you're welcome!!!
Perfect!!!
🤗
Nice N Thick from CCDIY makes the drip process go so much faster!
Great tip 🤗 thank you, Connie!

I was wondering what you were going to do with the black glitter!!
Thank you, Chalese 😊
Ty this is amazing 👏
You’re very welcome 🤗
I love this tumbler! Once I get going on doing tumblers and more experienced I will have to try this one. Halloween is my favorite holiday so this would be perfect. Thank you so much for the inspirational videos.
Absolutely the funnest cup EVER!!
Thank you, Roben! 🤗
😳😳😳 speechless that’s all I got!!! Ok wait, that is amazing!!! Not just the cup, but you really hit it home with the music 🎵 ❤️
Haha thank you 🤗
Wow!! Great job!!! I saw you use a waterslide, was a clear or white? Congrats!!
I love the pearl idea. What sizes did you use? I have the smaller ones you’re using but the larger ones I can’t tell.
Great imagination!!! Love it. Did you clean the rim up in any way? I'm always so paranoid about rims!! :-D
Thank you, Becky 🤗 I always do a quick run with a razor knife around the rim with every coat I do. My whole thought process was not wanting those pearls too close so I can clean it lol.
HELLO, good video!
Can you add glow powders to the epoxy and still use the alcohol inks or will it not glow?
Hi! Just wondering how you get the epoxy and powder to be thick?? I just tried this and it was so runny it just wouldn’t stop dripping and then when I put it on the turner, the mixture just turned into a blob and ran together, there were no textures at all.
This is so cool! What is that tool you apply the Pearl's with? Thanks so much!
Thank you! It’s just a jewel picker. Makes it easier to pick up the small pieces
Awesome creation Sandy! Have you seen the new Amazing Clear Cast resin plus?
Thank you 😊 and I have seen it! I can’t wait to use it!
Amazing!!!!
Where is the list of materials used??
I love this tumbler and ordered one for my own! Turned out very beautiful. Thanks Sandy! I saw a picture or video you did when you did the same design on a tumbler lid. Can you send me the link ? I'm trying to explain it to my husband and he just cannot get it. LOL
Thank you Calissa! I didn’t do the bubbly brew on a lid. But I did do a dirty pour with a lid. I’ll attach that 🤗ua-cam.com/video/sKR_ilwzKO4/v-deo.html
Hi there your videos are awesome!:) I'm new to making tumblers which do you recommend using waterslides or printable vinyl?
I guess it depends on the project. This could’ve been done with printable vinyl. But I have other designs that are more intricate and I like to use clear waterslide for those.
Is your waterslide on white paper since you put it on a dark background? This is just awesome!!!
It is! Or if you don’t have white you can use make a duplicate of your decal and cut out a plain white vinyl circle and lay your clear waterslide over that. Either way works I’ve done it both ways myself 🤗💜
Soooo I tried this but my epoxy was tooooo thick is their anyway I can make it thinner or no?
This might be a silly question, but instead of using inks, could I use acrylic paint over the pearls? I'm wanting to do a neon green. Love how yours turned out!
Absolutely! Where ever your creativity takes you, let it! Sounds like an awesome idea 🤗
Im having trouble with the alcohol inks :/ any tips to help.
Is the drips smooth over the top once you put epoxy on it? I have never created a drip cup
It will have a 3D look and feel once complete 🤗
Just curious, that looked like A LOT of mica powder for the amount of epoxy. I’m not saying like I know, I just started doing cups but I notice even a few shakes out of my mica (in shaker tubes) colors the epoxy and I made a set of runes the other day, used just a little more mica than usual (much less than you used in 80ml) and the runes STILL aren’t cured fully after 48 hours when the mat (about 3x thicker) I used with the same epoxy and just slightly less mica is cured perfectly solid. I just wanna do my cup right lol
Thanks for the tutorial. What is the tool you are using to grip the pearls?
It is a Crystal Katana but you can use a wax pencil as well
After you painted the alcohol inks you said you were going to apply a spray sealer before you put the last coat of Apoxy. Did you have to tape around the bubbles not to get the sealer on the cup or do you just sprays randomly on the top trying to primarily seal in the bubble design. I hope this makes sense.
Great question! I just focus on the bubbly portion with the spray and then epoxy the whole tumbler afterwards.
What kind of paper did you use for the decal? I want to do something similar and I have found it extremely difficult to find a way to do that.
I use a white waterslide paper for mine. But you could use printable vinyl as well.
Espy Designs here on UA-cam totally snatched ur design that’s all fine and good but not cool when someone DOES NOT credit another person’s original design. Ughhh biggest pet peeve!
What sealer did you use
Great cup! Did you use white or clear waterslide? How come it's so Brite on this black?
I used a white waterslide for the image
@@SandysOrganizedChaos thank you
Where do you find the vintage labels to print the label on please ?
It comes in a pack with other labels. I got it here: www.etsy.com/listing/603686208/halloween-potion-label-assortment?ref=hp_rf-1
What paper do you use to get the image on dark color tumblers?
You can use either a white water slide paper, or printable vinyl
why did you had to add the pearls first could you have added the epoxy then start laying down the pearls?
This is So Cool You Have A Amazing Imagination Wish I Had A Good Imagination I’ve Been asked To do a Red Fish scale Tumbler But I Cant seem to find a tutorial on how to apply the scales and how to paint it do you have any ideas Please!! Help!!
I did a scale tumbler that looks more like snake scales. I used my silhouette to cut out a bunch of scales (I bought the SVG on Etsy) and used double sided tape to stick them to the cup. I painted each scale before I put them on and it took forever, so I’d suggest painting the paper before cutting it. I wrapped a piece of double sided tape all the way around the base of the cup, then placed the scales on top of it, the next one slightly overlapping the previous scale. I added another layer of tape above that row and repeated the process. I made sure that the layer above was low enough so the bottom of those scales would sit a little bit on top of the row beneath. I also put those scales so the tip was in between the two scales below it, so it wasn’t uniform all the way across. I hope this makes the sense and helps!
Forgot to mention, I used card stock to cut out the scales. It looks kind of ridiculous at first, but when you epoxy it it ends up looking amazing!
Crystal Williams I made a dragon/ game of thrones tumbler but used fabric..it was easier and the dimension the fabric gave the cup was really nice.
Thank you, Crystal! And I see some wonderful people have already given you some inspiration! 🤗
Emily Taylor where did you get the scales from to put on the cardstock paper
Could you do this with crystalac instead?
That is a great question! Unfortunately I have never worked with CrystaLac so I can’t give you the proper answer. Sorry for the inconvenience. 💜💜
GREAT VIDEO!! I can't find any jewel pickers at Michaels, does it have a name?
I couldn’t find it online either. But I did find one similar on Amazon. Crystal Katana Tool by Crystal Ninja Rhinestone Applicator www.amazon.com/dp/B00CIV5GQW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_3.RnFbP7E8RPG
@@SandysOrganizedChaos thank-you!!! That name is sold at Hobby Lobby!!! You rock!!!
How do you put the lid on?
It fits right on the top no issues 🤗 that’s why I make sure the pearls don’t go to high up.
Hi was this after your first layer of epoxy on cup?
Or once it’s almost done? Like sanded and everything
Once it is almost done 🤗
@@SandysOrganizedChaos awesome! Thank you for replying!!! Loved your video about to do one now!
This tumbler is amazing but can you drink out of it ? & How other than the lid. Thank you in advance.
Thank you! And when I make these I try and make sure not to bring the pearls up close to the rim so that way someone can easily drink without a straw.
Ok thank you very much
Hi Sandy can you please give me all the things that you used & tell me from the beginning how you got the black & the glitter on it.thank you in advance.
@@SandysOrganizedChaos you said you could drink without a straw is the epoxy safe cause you went right to the rim
It is a must to use an FDA approved epoxy. That is all that should ever be used. I used the epoxy method to apply the base coat of the holographic black. Then I made sure to add another coat of epoxy after the first coat was dry to ensure a smooth surface to work on.
What is the tool called that you used to place the pearls on?
It is just a jewel picker. I found it at Michaels. But I know there are lots of other places that sell something similar as well.
Sandy’s Organized Chaos thank you
I'm having the hardest time finding the jewel picker on Michael's web site, can you share the direct link?
I couldn’t find it either! I did get it from them so I don’t know why it wouldn’t be on their website. But I found one similar at Walmart: www.walmart.com/ip/Crystal-Katana-Mixed-Media-Dual-Ended-Pick-Up-Glue-Tool/124849819
How can I order this one
Unfortunately I am not taking custom requests at this time. Thank you for inquiring and sorry for the inconvenience. 💜💜
Great tutorial! But a big NO to E6000. Very toxic.
Thank you! And, yes, glues are toxic. That is why I made sure the pearls that were glued stayed away from the rim and are completely under the FDA approved epoxy. Please feel free to use what ever makes you more comfortable to apply them 🤗
Is this a water slide svg?
This is a digital download that you can print on either a water-slide paper, printable vinyl, or even plain paper.
@@SandysOrganizedChaos ok. So on this tumbler did you use water slide or printable vinyl?
@@audbrianawallace6093 I used a white waterslide
