It has a strong American football team/program, which is why your bag got all the attention. Its football stadium seats 102,733 fans; there are other universities with even bigger football stadiums, and they do fill to capacity during football season. (8 of the 10 largest stadiums in the world are American college football stadiums.) The school’s sports teams are called the Aggies; Aggies refer to a student at an agricultural school. “Gig ‘em” is just a term used by supporters of the school to show approval, not just at sporting events. I was surprised to see the labels on your bag when you were packing, thought you might be a fan of the school.
