My Tisas SS 1911 45ACR arrived in a nice plastic case with 2 magazines and it arrived at my FFL 2 weeks ago. I have yet to take it to the range but I have cleaned and lubed the pistol.
Just got mine from midway in the last few weeks and it came with 2 mecgar mags, different writing on the slide, and a black hard case. I also used the same exact trigger gauge (Lyman digital) and it averaged 1lb 11ounces - I was very surprised.
Thank you somebody can answer that question.! Im about to order mines from budsgun shop, the SDS Imports Tisas 1911 Duty Black 45 ACP Pistol - Stainless/Silver, 5" Barrel. And all the serial #’s start with T0620-22Z1, (since you can choose what serial # you want.) i really hope mine come with the 2 mags and hard case at least.!
This is an absolutely beautiful 1911 for the price!!! I'm not sure if G10 grips would improve the look, the black on bead blasted appearance looks amazing!
So for example if it started with T0620-22Z1, you would get the hard case and 2 mags.? Im about to order mines from buds gun shop, and you can choose the serial # and they all start like that.
Also, Tisas gunsmith told me the ones coming out now have no MIM parts on them. The older ones , especially the ones in a cardboard box are older ones with cast MIM parts.
They do make a good base to do a rebuild if that’s what you decide to do. I personally have a Tisas Night Stalker 45 and just did a full internal rebuild of it with parts from wilson combat.
😊 Good video ~ maybe the gun seller sold this gun with only 1 mag in hopes that they could sell the other one, Hence there was 2.
@@garyvancamp5452 almost all 1911s are sold 1 mag only

Sounds like you got one of the newer batch.
I have this same gun. Very nice. Very accurate. Very good price too.
It's definitely a lot of bang for the buck....pun intended.
Got this about a year ago when got to meet one of the guys from SDS, it came with the plastic lock box. Since i have worked it over added night sights
With some hand fitting I'd imagine they run very well.

Serial number start with 22?
@@Gruntreviews Yes, after the dash.
You got the updated version. 22 and up gets the extra mags and the hard case.

Let us know for sure.
I got a crappy gray box. Same model and everything about a year ago. Loved the blue box they came in years ago thou
Supposedly all the new 22 production units are coming with extra mags and a hard case.

I did add the g10 blk Gray and looks good on that stainless
That is such a nice pistol!!! I love the addition of black parts.
You definitely get a lot of pistol for the price tag.
@@Gruntreviews Reliable?
I've got a range review up on it.
The newer models dated with a 22 prefix in the serial number all come with a hard case and 2 mags
Good to know
@@Gruntreviews you got a fine gun

Love my tisas duty. Best trigger around

SSR is a trademark of smith & Wesson... Special Service Revolver
In this case it is Stainless Steel with Rail
Is this a good base gun for a rebuild?
I havent built it out, but seems to be a decent platform for a 70 series.

1911, sexiest pistol ever made
It's even better in 2011 form
Does anyone know if the Tisas,Girsan and SDS guns are coming out of the same factory or not?the 1911’s.
I can't confirm with 100% certainty, but chances are better than not that it's the same plant.
@@Gruntreviews thanks appreciate it
@@adamadams6740 my pleasure
How is this compare to a Kimber TLE RL?
Mostly the DLC coating and the TFX night sites
Price and tisas shots great
It doesn’t
Its all forged. Everything forged steel.

New old stock, obviously.
Sorta. At the time, both were shipping from vendors. The turkiah Imports tend to do running changes vs generational shifts.
