Another episode of Bodybuilding Simplified is here! Today we will dive deep into neck training! I will tell you exactly which types of exercises and which types of movement patterns you should do. There are 3 areas of the neck, that you need to target, to have a fully developed neck. These areas are: the front side, the back side, and the sides. For the front side of the neck, you will do a neck curl, for the back side of the neck, you will do a neck extension, and for the sides of the neck, you will do a neck rotation, or the lateral neck flexion. We will also go over the number of workouts per week, number of sets per week, and all the rep ranges like 5-8, 8-12, 12-15, 20-25/30. We will also discuss the danger of neck bridges, how to stretch out your neck and how to construct a neck routine. And then we will also take a look at how to progressively overload the neck and how to perform the neck exercises correctly, because form is very important. And we will also uncover what to do with the feeling of dizziness when training your neck.

You can train neck rotation with a resistance band, wrap it around something and put it on your forehead and walk forward till you find the resistance you like and just look left and right 👌

A neck harness is $20 and totally worth it. I couldn't do all these reps without starting to get dizzy so I opt for lower reps and isometrics

Great video but you failed to mention when is a good time to do a neck exercise . should you combine it with traps for instance?

to load the neck rotation just use exercise rubber bands. Attach the band at aprox headheight on a pole or what ever you got avaliable. stand infront of the pole, get your head in the loop and step away to create tension. the band should rest above the ears, either on the back of your head or your forehead. start rotating your head from side to side. profit

Shaved my beard to see how my training paid off and only saw a skinny ass neck. Been doing these moves and saw instant results. You can also apply resistance with just your hands.
Listen to this man, neck bridges can cause paralysis and other things. They work, Mike Tyson did em in his prime and got a huge neck but it isn't worth the possible consequences. Just get a neck harness(I got mine for like 25 cad) or you can just hold weights like he said.

Just a question, you didn't say anything about putting your hands on the back of the head then pulling with your neck for the resistance. Is that a good exercise to do or what because I think it's an ok exercise, even to say they are better then this ones.
