You interchange the use of phonological and phonemic awareness several times in this video. This would be confusing for your viewers as they are very different things. Phonological awareness is an understanding of how sounds, syllables, words, and word parts can be orally manipulated to break words apart, make new words, and create rhymes Phonemic awareness is a type of phonological awareness that focuses on the sounds in a language. It is a purely auditory skill that shows educators when students are able to distinguish between the phonemes within a word or the smallest unit of sound and understand how they can be manipulated to change the meaning of the word. You also refer to phonics as a part of phonemic awareness but it's not, phonemic awareness refers to individual sounds within words and is an auditory skill- phonics refers to the understanding of the letter-sound relationships (not phonemes) and how printed letters correspond to letter sounds. If someone is watching this video to prepare they're going to be misinformed on the test.
That’s exactly what I was thinking! I picked B (syllabication or breaking up ball into three parts) for one of the practice questions which was “which would be the first to develop with phonemic awareness” or something like that and it was wrong on here but I knew I was right lol.

I noticed that also. Phonemic awareness is a sub-catagory of phonological awareness.
