Thank you for the video. I recently bought some polymer clay. But your clay seems more firm than mine. I make some small face and it was really hard because clay was softer than I expected.
Very nice! So many tools I feel😂 so 2 questions… one is that liquid you use- do you use it on converted minis let’s say you create a cape out of milliput and put it on? Or is it for full on sculpts with super fine sculpting clay? So that was the thirst question. The second question would be as someone who does 28mm only size and wanna convert a lot- as a beginner as well- how many of these tools would you recommend I start with? I guess some of the tools looked the same but much smaller scale… maybe I missed small important details
When I sculpt I want to make an even (not smooth in this stage) surface. I am finding it difficult to do so because I am an amateur. What tools do you use to make an even surface that might end up being a helmet or a piece of armor that must be very even (and at the end smooth by adding baby oil or turpentine)?
to blend lumps together and make surfaces even I use my rake tools. there is two ways of doing them. one of my earliest videos is about the tools i use.
Thanks for this! =) Just one question: The Colour Shapers come in soft, firm and extra-firm, do you know which grade you use? I don't want to buy one and find out it's too soft or hard, since they're not cheap where I live.
yes, they are expensive, but they also last forever unless you spill superglue on them or the likes ;) I do use the black ones primarily, so extra firm (the hardest variant) because i feel they are still bendy enough to allow sentsitivity even in 28mm scale. I am sure you could get used to the other ones though, but for me those work perfect.
Awesome, thanks so much =) I just noticed the different colors determine how firm they are, which I should have noticed before, oops. But this was still incredibly helpful, thank you. By the way, your work is incredible. Thanks for sharing it with us commoners :P
i do use the same tool i use for bigger sculpts, but it is so much up to personal preference. The tool is just really to rough out shapes that's why it works for me. for detailing i usually use needles, balltools and most of all the size 0 angle chisle color shaper.
Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was looking for. Your channel is awesome.
Thank you for this, I`m a beginner and have found this very useful.
great :) happy to hear that!

i am using super sculpey firm. I like it better than softer versions. If I want a clay with softer properties I mix in some fimo.
Love the videos so far 👍🏻
thanks!

Heyy, nice videoo :D But i have a question, whati' the grey material you use? It's the same as the normal brown clay ?
Ty :D
Super Sculpey Firm ;) It's a polymer-clay
Hi! Thanks for sharing. For your main tool, what diameter brass wire will be best for 35mm minis?
i do use the same tool i use for bigger sculpts, but it is so much up to personal preference. The tool is just really to rough out shapes that's why it works for me. for detailing i usually use needles, balltools and most of all the size 0 angle chisle color shaper.
trovarion thanks!! Your videos are great resource for me
I am glad to hear that :)

Well here I am again.

I don't do these, sorry. But there is plenty of videos around on UA-cam that show tools for that!
Nice men, you use polymer clay?
yes, Super Sculpey Firm
