i would be very interested to hear the Actual Overall cost of that 2 week old calf to the day it actually in the factory lairage, as it would be great if the ''factory'' be ABP or whoever show that the price factories give farmers is non other than a sin, i speak of 1986 period working in what now is called Teagasc( formally An forais Taluntais) when using ''growth promoters'' on 1,000's of cattle in trials, getting 117p/lb plus transport, Growth promoters is a ''Dirty '' word to Irish shoppers but not when cattle come from the Amercias disguised as CAP, how gullible we Irish are, Liam M.
