Bought one for my wife for her birthday and was really on the fence about which on to get even after reading other on line reviews of several others. Yeah it's definitely nice but the Bluetooth is fickle at times. The app notifications are rather nice.
@@drivecfl Bluetooth has been fine for me as well as everything else. One thing that did happen to me was that it randomly stopped working. A hard reset fixed it though
@@3lement2010 like right now messages have stopped working. it was working all day. So now i may have to connect to the charger and reboot it.

Thank you. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to get the spinning part on my fit bit. A simple swipe in the correct direction and I found it. I don’t think it was auto sensing spinning so I probably missed out a few thousands “steps” the last couple days. Hopefully it will work better once I click start spinning from now on.
Was wondering if I should upgrade from the charge 2 and this video and just made me want to get the charge 3 more, thanks for the great video

Just bought it yesterday and I fall in love with it. The battery life is much much better than Galaxy Watch and the Apple Watch 4.
Everything is good for me cause I don’t really need a lot of smart features on the Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch. 😊

Worked well for me aside from constant syncing issues then a few weeks out of warranty it started and taking on water like a sponge.
Which exercise do you select for jacobs ladder? stair master? indoor v. outdoor workouts? Compare to apple watch
You're correct, the step counting is extremely generous at times. I'm not sure why they can't get that more accurate. My Charge 2 was not as bad.
question is; are the calories burned precise? I saw a big difference vs the garmin??
Great video and you covered almost everything, but there is one thing that maybe unnecessary to others and that Motorcycle movement.... I stopped using my Fitbit flex because it kept on counting my movement while I'm Riding my Motorcycle which I do almost daily.
So can you tell me please is this one better or is there anyway that you can delete the activities from the Charge 3 ?

I bought my Charge 3 about a month ago. Thanks for the tip about using the quto-recognize swim mode instead of manual. I will definitely try this as I've been a bit disappointed with not getting heart rate with my swims. Also, the calories burned doesn't seem to be accurate for swimming. I wish I could see my swimming lengths while swimming instead of swim duration. Guess I've have to buy a finger counter.

I really enjoyed your video. However, I’m having a hard time deciding between
the Charge 3 and the Versa. I like the looks and size of Charge better than
the Versa. I don’t like large watches. But the Charge doesn’t have a clock face
that I like and it’s only black and white. I realize that you don’t know but what
do you think the odds are that fitbit will update with
more watch face selections??

They had a good thing going with the design. They made their units in the direction of smart watches, and then they went backwards aesthetically. They could have at least made a color display an option as a clock face.
Do the touch screen and non-mechanical button work with gloves on?
In 2018 I've gone back and forth between the Charge 2 and the Samsung Gear Sport. Overall, I realized I don't need a smartwatch and the simplicity of the Charge 2 much better suits my needs. Is a Charge 3 going to be worth the upgrade or should I hold onto my Charge 2? I understand it's more advanced and aesthetically pleasing, but after watching a few reviews I still can't decide.

i just bought a new fitbit charge 3 a few days ago and for some reason it wont charge more than 94 percent its really annoying. the charger is clipped on properly but it wont charge more than 94 % would you have an idea why

I have a Charge 2 atm and I'm pretty happy with it but I was trying to look for some different interchangeable bands (as I sometimes work up a sweat at the gym) but couldn't find any on the fitbit online store. Is it true that Fitbit Charge 2 is being discontinued? Would you recommend I stick with my Fitbit Charge 2 or should I trade it in for the Charge 3? Thanks again for all your hard work! :)
FantashticIdeas There are a plethora of options for Charge 2 bands on Amazon; as to whether you should upgrade or not I would say if you really like the extra 2 days of battery life + waterproof as well as the weather app then go for it!

Does the charge 3 display laps on the watch when swimming or does it only show you after the fact on your phone?
I'm having trouble with my charge 3 reading my heartbeat consistency through the night. So it's not tracking my sleep properly. What do you suggest? Also is this the best sleep tracker?
The Australian edition non special version has fitbit pay anywhere else you pay extra by the special edition
A few days in I like it. Not sure exactly how accurate the HR monitor is. Definitely wish the screen stayed on a few seconds longer though. Have to see very quickly before it goes off.

At 0:38 the watch seems like it’s glitching ( like a ripple effect?) is this just an effect or display you can choose and could you get rid of it? Thanks

@@DesFit mainly CrossFit, swim, some hiking(newbie), treadmill, row machine, and some running outdoors.
The Forerunner 645 should hit all the marks for you. No need to spend the money on the fenix for the stuff you do.

Are you saying that the charge 3 doesn't need a screen protector? If not will a screen protector for fitbit Charge 2 fit on a 3?

Thinking about this as I'm trying to guilt myself into being more active. That and poké go. Tired on a iconic and it's not that heavy or that bulky so as this is smaller looking it's more atractive. I got small wrists but I still had a good fit with the small band they had on for the display models, if that help anyone.

That one isn’t on my radar quite yet but possibly if they were to send a loaner unit.
Just got my Charge 3 and the only issue I am having with it is it counts steps while I am at rest but moving my arms around!! I hardly did anything yesterday and it showed I had over 12,000 steps. Tossing and turning in bed actually added many steps!!!. Is there any way to stop this? to me it defeats the purpose for what I purchased this watch for. My fitbit had no instruction books that came with it.
Older video, I know, but I wanted to know if you had the same issues I did with floors climbed. Mine was waaaaay off and I would get 20+ floors walking a few blocks...in Florida...you know, the flat state. I returned it and went back to my Ionic.

Watches use the sensors inside such as the accelerometer and/or gyroscope to sense when you’re turning around. You generally have to enter in a pool length first before starting to swim, then it can sense when you turn around.

MY charge 3 is not syncing any more -- since March 2020--Nothing-why ... it tells me on my watch how many steps etc ...BUT NO sleep tracking at all ..what can I do ??

Fitbit versa review???
I drive a straight drive (manual transmission) and I have had other fitness trackers track my shifting as steps. Is this tracker that sensitive or do you think it could tell the difference?
Most Fitbit devices have too much sensitivity and can mistakenly track false positives.
Is there a way to turn the feature off or could I just take it off while driving?
Charge 2 or charge 3? Ive read some software issues and small print on screen issues with the 3. Thoughts?
Is anyone else having low heart rate during exercise problems? Compared to my chest strap, the last 3 rides have been 100 bpm avg and 146-150 max hr when my Wahoo shows way higher, 150 avg, max around 188. I have contacted fit bit 3 times, on the last time they said I need to try it with a Google Pixel phone before they warranty it because "the phone has alot to do with heart rate tracking" which I don't believe.

It's still in Beta testing. The testing started about a month or two ago so it'll take quite some time for Fitbit to give us something.

I purchased my fit bit charge the last week in December 2018. February 24th 2019, it died. I placed it back on the charger for over 24 hrs and still nothing. It was a Christmas gift to myself and I am extremely disappointed with this device. What a waste of money!
