.flow - Creepy secret event (other side of the bloody area)

- Yeah, this game gets way more creepy than Yume Nikki at times and the areas require much less walking/searching, too.
About that yellow painting on the wall in front of the blood I broke through to enter this area...it appears pretty rarely. It also seems to be completely random, whether it'll appear or not. I think I'll revisit this area later, just to see if using Viscera would trigger something.

Um! The blood in the room at 4:23, was it there before?
Also this is one of my favorite scary games, because it's a special, subtle kind of scary which bears implications that are far more disturbing than any cheap jump scare. The kaibutsu scare me a hell of a lot more than any ordinary zombie ever did.
0:02: They look more like teeth to me. There's a huge tooth motif in this game. Poison, rabies? I don't even know.

It's representing how high the rust counter is. It goes higher with certain events, and every fifty points a change to the room is added. Big events usually add fifty points, but kaibutsu and smaller events can add some as well. Might be better to look up the rust counter on the wiki.
is there any not creepy .flow event?
This reminds me of 6 Days a Sacrifice and all the Chzo stuff in that game. Gross.

Pardon the 5 years late reply, but the blood splatters in the room are decided by a special hidden statistic within the game called the Rust counter, which goes up based on witnessing some of the game's scarier events and being attacked by Kaibutsu. The amount of blood that appears isn't uniformly decided by any one event, but it sort of accumulates as you see some of the game's more fucked up events.
