Wow! You have a great set custom fabrications. Your work is beautiful, but still useful. I bet the front end loader will get a lot of use. Thank you for sharing the videos.
Thank you sir!! I just found your channel last night and binge watched until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. So much ingenuity in all of those tractor builds, it's pretty amazing!
Much appreciated! I saw your youtube name in my alerts when you subscribed and thought, "I gotta check this out." Glad I did. I think we are a similar type.
@@kurtscustoms I saw your other video on the loader. Looks like it works pretty good! Saves your back. What about that Pete contraption? Got a video on that?
@@oldfarmer9004 Thank you, sure there's quite a few videos of the Peterbilt on my channel. I built the cab out of a freezer door and the outer shell of an oven or two. I built it around a big generac 992cc engine, but never could get it running quite right (I converted it from natural gas to gasoline) so more recently I threw the predator 420cc out of my jeep in it to make it more reliable.
That is so awesome!! I am planning on building a skid steer to put on my welding trailer because I am not going to have access to my service truck or crane .
@@kurtscustoms I still have the desire to build the mini skid loader but as I have been molding what business I am going to start I believe I have settled on a Welding/Fabrication/machining business with a specialty in engine drive welders or at least the small engine part. It seems that I now have a bunch of engine drive welders to repair. There first project is going to be a self contained backhoe that can be used to perform nearly any job on a homestead or small farm.
You answered a bunch of my questions in another post but I'm looking for Cylinder information. Were they hydraulic? What kind and specifications? Thanks awesome build
Nice job. I am looking at doing a similar build in the near future for my JD. I subscribed so I can find these and see what else you build. Do you have any general prints, drawings, or dimensions on the loader that you would be willing to share?
Thank you! Unfortunately no I just built it to fit this particular tractor. I started with the frame mount until it worked and looked good, then the arms(?) until they worked good and had the travel I wanted, and then the same for the bucket. It's mostly built out of 2x3 tubing, 1/8 and 3/16 because I had a lot of it laying around. I could take some measurements if you'd like but I don't know if it would help much because this is physically a very small tractor.
The rear are 6-12 Firestone Regency, and the front are 3.50-6 Deestone tri ribs. I put the factory Goodyear turf tires back on the front because of their rounded edges. The tri ribs dug in really bad while turning making it harder to steer.
How can i get one like this or similar? Trying to find inexpensive alternatives for a small farm

Nice job Kurt. That front loader looks like it works pretty good. And you got the peter built hauling like it should.
Thank you! They sure are fun!

Thank you! Yes, they're hydraulic, they have the pump and reservoir built on to the side of them. www.ebay.com/itm/143915018875

You are putting your toys to good use. Now no one can tell you they are useless. Great job!
Thank you!!
What brand and size are your tires?
