5 years later it's still the best, cuz by now nobody made more particular and simpler video about mastering in reaper, thank you
Wow, your channel is a hidden gem. Just what I need at this moment! Keep it up!
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
Five years later, this is still valid. A really helpful guide.
I've been playing music for about 15 years but I'm just getting into recording my own music. This video is such a huge help however subtle the change may be it's exactly the things I need to learn right now. Thanks again bud!
Thank you SO MUCH, Audiohackr! As someone who knew NOTHING about the technical side of music, your explanations are clear, concise and understandable while giving great information! Sub'ed!
Just what I needed, someone to explain clearly how to master in Reaper. I am looking forward to giving your tips a try. You have explained things so well - thank you!
I like that you put a picture of real tools in the area where you were mentioning mastering tools. Amazing video mate!
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
Immediately went downstairs to improve a mix, such a noticeable difference! And I had not been overwhelmed by online options. Thank you!
This is exactly what I've been looking for! Now I'm gonna remaster all my old songs. Yay :)
I like the simple changes you did. It made that bass end a lot more smoother. You helped me with my project I am making right now.
This is a quality video! You've earned a new sub!!
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much, my first time recording my own songs an they were low in volume, no clipping issues, but just low after mixing. Now using your tips step by step i have the results that i dreamed of in the first place. Once again, thank you kind sir
Easily the clearest tutorial of its kind I've seen yet. Thank you!
Holy. I can't believe that you were able to get such a big improvement from those simple additions. Great video!
One of the best tutorial I ever met about Mastering in Reaper
Hey man, thanks for making such an excellent video. I've been making music for around 5 years now and only just decided to learn to master. Very helpful. I hope you get a lot more recognition. I liked the song in the background, by the way. Made me dig for your bandcamp
Cheers! Thanks for watching! If you're looking for this song on Bandcamp you can find the original version here: oldkidmusic.bandcamp.com/
I'm loving these tutorials and learning a lot. The explanations and visuals are clear, concise, and easy to follow even for a novice home recorder. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
PHENOMENAL LESSONS! This is worth its weight in gold. I use a Kemper Profiling Amp worth around 2.000$ and a pretty mid-tier acoustic-electric and when I record some already awesome tones I WAS STUNNED when I learned that I could actually DRAMATICALLY change the overall sound of the GUITAR ITSELF and the tone by following this guide. You have opened up not a single door but the steel vault bomb safe hack-proof door that stood between me the artist and the world of possibilities to actually record something on my own and publish it, my many different hats off to you! Thanks!!
I can't get over how amazingly simple and helpful this video is.
Thanks for watching! Cheers!
Wow im mad at myself for not finding this 2 years ago. Love your videos and channel!
This made a very noticeable difference in my track, thanks man!
What a goldmine and motivation booster this video is ! Thank you
Seeing your vids, I feel really happy I use Reaper, it's so cool you do tutorials about it.
Cheers! Thanks for watching! REAPER's pretty awesome... For years I used to use Logic and Pro Tools... then I switched to REAPER and I haven't looked back!
A++ now I've got a solid basis for mastering - Using your technique made a significant change Thanks
This was really helpful. I'm trying to get into the habit of doing songs on my own since my mixing/mastering guy is quitting. I still find myself new to the subject of mastering, but it's coming together slowly.
This helped me so much in producing my first metal song. Thank you!
Cheers! Thanks for watching!
Thank you! This is great. I've never mastered anything before and this is a great start after only ten minutes.
Thanks for watching! This is really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to mastering. The goal here is to just get your songs sounding a bit more polished before your share them! If you want to see how the pros do it check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/eQF8ORNJYbk/v-deo.html showing Joe Lambert doing his thing. If you're interested in getting more detailed info about doing it yourself, check out Ian Shepherd's channel: ua-cam.com/users/masteringmedia. Cheers!!!

Cheers! Thanks for watching and subscribing!!!
Incredibly clear and helpful
Good stuff.
Also, can do all this on a stereo mix down instead of on the master track.
That can be advantageous: less memory use, quicker renders, and also forces you to mix with that in mind, to where you don't think "I can just fix the mix if the master isn't right."
Thanks a lot, I released a demo last year and was kind of bummed that it's super quiet, hopefully I can now get my next release to have a decent volume!
Most things I thought about you said it, you definitely know your stuff. You also don't rush so I like and subscribe.
