4:50 gusto is a spanish word, it's used when you do something which is very enjoyable or you like it to much, like eating something very delicious "me estoy comiendo esta lazagna con mucho gusto, está deliciosa"
@@harukifromjapan8279hello, I know this comment is a bit old, but can you please tell me what’s wrong with your first comment because I thought it was right when you used the word (struggle) I didn’t get any mistake.
@@Mary-S11 hey ik this is a late reply but what was wrong initially was the word "struggle" not being on its past tense when it should've, because before that word he wrote "i have" (i've)
Hi, Sir. That's so true!! I used to watch you tube for phonics with my kids and sing English songs, reading bedtime stories in English for my kids. That really helped to improve my speaking muscle. My mouth was sore after bedtime stories coz Japanese is one of the language that we don't need to move our tongues so fast. Hey, your yard ! It's covered with snow❄️ I love watching your Christmas trees having a layer of snow on them. Could you get it in your video when it happens? Thanks 😄⚽🏟️
Thank you very much, Bob! I noticed that I am already using some of the techniques with my dtudents, but I'll definitely include the others. Really cool!
Thank you for sharing such a great way to improve to speak English 😀 Actually, some of those I have heard but you shared what you do in deals with us. I try it right away!! Thanks again.
Hello teacher Bob, your sharing of experience are very important, for guy who struggle with broken English. I believe that our endeavor eventually will give to us result and we are bragging with it. Thx a lot
Hi Bob, your pronunciation is super clear. I love the tips you shared to improve English. They are always practical, thank you. I'm really eager to try each of them.
I didn't know you, but I already adopt you! You seem to be a very good teacher ! Your voice is clear, you are so sympathetic ! I like your advices ! I will try to applicate them ! Thank you very much ! I will recommand you to m'y son, he's french, he is 18 !
Hello teacher Bob..I often do shadowing on your videos. It works, my pronunciation improved. The other one, I learned phares from your videos then I continue finding short english conversation from other videos, I can understand the whole conversation better, since I've known many phrases from you.
Yo man, that's really interesting, I understand what you mean, thanks for all your help, that's so nice of you, well done, way to go, have a nice week.
Excellent tips! I already use some of them and you are right, they are effective. I like reading books in English and sometimes I quite overdo with reading out loud😅 it's like most of the book is read by me this way. I used to listen to a lot of audiobooks and then I got inspired. I even had my favourite lectors and I tried to copy their style😅 I really like the voice and pronunciation of Ilyana Kadushin❤️
I like tip number 7, and I have been doing this for couple of weeks. It works quite well for me. I am shadowing with your videos. Learning English and practicing pronunciation simultaneously.
It requires tons of practice, for instance the best warm up for me is to say tongue twisters or read out loud. For working on particular sounds the best way is to start from learning phonics , diphthongs, digraphs etc.
Thanks for the videos you make... It would be a great idea if you make a video with all the sounds you make at beginning "warmups" so we can listen to them and practice. ☺️👋
Hi Bob! You are amazing, I enjoy a lot your classes. Thanks for all your tips. Noticed You pronounced the word "gusto" (spanish) which sounds like they combinación of "good" without "d" at the end (goo) and "stop" without "p" at the end (sto) Hope this help. A big hugg!
a little humor in comments) Son : My math teacher is crazy. Mother : Why? Son: Yesterday she told us that five is 4+1; today she is telling us that five is 3 + 2.
Bob ! ? You said "where someone can't see you" is that correct? I would have said "where anybody can see you" The way you phrased it left me confused. I appreciate your work Bob. Love from Havana, Cuba Thank you very much for helping us with our English.
I sometimes practice the pronunciation to be more fluent during speech. It's really important to handle these basic steps, if you wanna sound self-confident and more naturally. It's difficult, if you have to focus on these basic things like Pronunciation, rhytm, connected speech, translating in your head. You have to be albe to use these things automaticaĺly and invest the time into much more important things like thinking of what you wanna say. I usually repeate my favorite words again and again and then I combinate them with prepositions and other words. Then, I try to connect them together and the final step is thy rythm. I pronunce the relevant words slowly and correctly and the prepositions fast. I try to keep the the same rhytm and it works. Then, I start the conversation with myself. If I don't do this excercise I don't feel comfortable when I speak.
Good tips, I suppose my pronunciation is not bad but I really lack practice in writing and talking in daily life as we are not surrounded by English. All I've done is I would talk to my kids with just a little bit of English.
U can say gusto in Spanish lol. There are several meanings. For instance when you say para gustos los colores "horses for courses" he has a good taste in music el tiene buen gusto en musica or u can do something with elation and I guess its the one that u mean, hacer algo con gusto
