Yeah thanks for this video I sometimes struggle with trying to make these sliders the best I normally strip the weight off the parts when I design them
You make fantastic content mate thanks heaps for this, really really helpful, keep it up, def deserve more subs. Hope you're doing well! Looking forward to the next one
There is a really good guide on Steam that has a spreadsheet that gives percentile breakdowns of the effectiveness of each component. Eg: I know the tyre ware stat is influenced 80% by suspension and 20% by front wing, so there is no point in doing tyre preservation on the front wing.
I playing long time follow your content long time as well but I always find something interesting like in this video I discovered that the rear wing gives big junk of medium speed. As always appreciate 👍👍
Another great vid. One thing i wanted to clarify on the underfloor, you mentioned to make another version immediately. Do you mean using the next ATR hours or just designing another underfloor without ATR hours? Also, do you generally make X4 of each thing you manufacture?
Yeah, the main benefit of CFD/Wind isnt on the piece you use it on but the one after, so start another design after the first one finishes and you'll get a much better part. I generally try and keep 4 pieces of each part yes, with the exception of front wing which I do 6 off.
Please lower your microphone gate a bit. It is cutting out your words and makes it challenging to listen to. I know you said your environment is noisy, but I think you are overcompensating.
I've always wondered, do you design every car like this with this same template every year? Or is there something I should be looking at beforehand to know what to upgrade? For example, if you're designing a part for Mercedes, can I use this same template with Alpine and it'll work okay?
The cars function identically for each team, as such the same upgrade path works for every team more or less, the only difference is their starting points.
Top speed will be chassis, rear wing and sidepods for the most part, you will have to sacrifice either some cooling or cornering to trade for top speed.
Meet the expectations of the board in terms of where they want you to finish, if they want you to finish say 6th and you are 6th or above focus on research from that point onwards to get a more competitive car in the second season. Getting better staff for morale boosts for your drivers can be huge too.
You can, keep in mind though that the higher you get in expertise the lower the gains, so there will come a time when focusing on the other things would be good too, usually around the 75% point or thereabouts.
I have just come around to check one of your 2024 manager videos and bloody hell, that game looks like a carbon copy of 2023. Apart from build your own team, has anything changed gameplaywise? I find that once you figure out the sliders, you just end up doing the same thing over and over again. The longevity of this game is nearly inexistent. They should add more complexity to car design and how you improve performance. Throw in some playable pre-season testing with goals you need to hit. Also, throwing out designs and new parts throughout the season should follow real life F1 rules more closely. Or have they implemented these windows in-game this year?
2:02 Underfloor
6:39 Suspension
8:47 Chassis
10:50 Sidepots
13:32 Front Wing
15:44 Rear Wing
I just wanted to say I appreciate your dedication to the constant content, even while you are not 100%.
I unironicly do all these already because i watched you do this while streaming
nobody cares
@@Jamesohio-uk8ju why do you care what I comment?
I'd be lost without your videos .keep it up
Oh my god I had no idea lifespan had that much affect. Thank you so much
Thank you for another video, these are really helping me. I’m keeping all of this in mind!

I understand you. Non everyone wants to think playing the game

do you have the link to the guide by any chance?

The fifth person here keeps up the good work nerobax from David
Would have loved to see how each of these improvement influences your grid performance too
I'll try and be more aware of that in future videos/guides.
Could you do a tutorial on how to develop the car going on into season 2 and 3?
Might be a silly question....but who is Mike ?? any link to his channel to compare ideas ??
Mike Takumi, makes steam guides. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3295235386
will you make a 'beginner's guide to everything' style video for this game one day too?
Probably in a couple months as I would assume there is still a few patches to be had.
How do you use the remaining ATR periods throughout the year?
Cornering>speed>tires>drs>engine , dirty air ussles

On my second and third projects my progressis NEGATIVE? I cannot develop more/further?

Hello i gonna says that your silder help me a lot but i have my top speed gets worst i have a question how i improve the top speed
Top speed will be chassis, rear wing and sidepods for the most part, you will have to sacrifice either some cooling or cornering to trade for top speed.
Is it worth designing parts or researching with no cfd or wind tunnel hours ?
Yes! CFD and Wind Tunnel add extra gain, but you should always try to have 4 project running.
I created a new team what would you recommend I do first to make team more competitive in second season

what about the second design of each part
So should I keep on setting the same slider for every new car part design?
You can, keep in mind though that the higher you get in expertise the lower the gains, so there will come a time when focusing on the other things would be good too, usually around the 75% point or thereabouts.
Does intense benefit anyway
@@NeroBax Thank you!! Love the content. I have been following your Alpine season 2 and I loved it. Especially Max as the associate.

Mentality and Create a team as you say. There isn't really much that has changed in terms of development.
@ ok thanks. I will sit this one out then.
