i'm sorry but I've been editing for over three years and I for some reason right now I cannot get any clients but the one client that I got today. Absolutely loved my showreel and my portfolio, and I DM a bunch of people with a short cover letter, and my showreel and my portfolio

Okay so as an agency owner since 2018, I can agree with the points you made. I just have an issue with the title in comparison to the information actually given. this is more like a "Why you are not getting clients" opposed to a "How to" guide. Can you make a video on sending in proposals and online networking if you have any experience on that ?
I agree with you on this point. I am great video editor. I know this because I edit videos for my only one client who has more than a MIL subs. But what I really wanted to to know from this video is to how to outreach to more clients and i didn't get that info. DISAPPOINTED!!!

what is your tipp when you do high effort emails/approaches (X)
I made 2 warm approaches where I send a sample edit of one of their videos but it takes alot of time
Now I send cold emails that I personalize with a quick review of how we can improve their results
I sended now for the last days 51 emails and got 3 responds
-> how can I increase the respond rate?
Or is it really just more volume?
Because these warm emails also take some time
Not nearly as much as the sample edits but still it's like 10 emails in 1 hour or so
and before that to find the leads of potential clients in my niche
i am currently searching for my first ever job as an editor and i dont have any background experience or referrals and i dont know how to make people realise i am not scamming them
I would love a video explain how you can legally become an agency and what to do about tax once you start making a lot of money
Most agency owners just find an accountant as soon as possible.

There is a group of people that are good at their service, add examples when making out reach, and also get replies, but the issue is it ends there, they are not able to sign the client because of their sales process is bad. I belong to that group of people, what can I do🙏
