people are always talking about woman are better covering and when men show much skin no one cares and no one compares men to objects that can be ,,used,, and lose their value with every man entering in her or are already polluted with looks. If no man cares if women see the body of the wife and maybe other woman having a Affair with her because they don't see other women as competition but they see other man as one because they know they maybe not treating their woman right and the other guy may does anything better. This jealousy is just about other guys and they blame woman for it. and they say according to their sense that only men can soil with physical acts and looks (they say indirectly that men are devils with an evil eye that defiles and curses when the look meets a woman who is ,,pure,,). Or maybe it's just jealousy without being in a marriage or relationship with the person Just pretend single women are $l0t$ because they are free and dress how they want why is it important to mention that her outfits are covering. I am a man myself but that kind of statements especially from other men are just disgusting. Even if someone themself didn't behave that way, many were complicit just because that was, 'just the way things were.'
All of you always have something to complain about. Honestly without all the social inadequacies the 1950’s would’ve been perfect. This is coming from a woman who would much rather live in a time where my husband had to work and I got the privilege to stay home, see my kids, cook and clean. Nowadays we have to have 5 jobs just to live comfortably.
Honestly my great aunt sisters married rich men . That basically got them a cook and a maid. My great aunt married an TV repair man she met going to collage. She became a teacher and he became an head chemist. She also didn't know who to keep house or cook because her mother had wanted all her girls to marry rich and have servants. But her husband taught her. My mom said she became a great cook and seamstress but that they all had to suffer through the learning how to cook. Her husband was a great cook and could sew so he was the one to teach her .
@@skylergerman6785 Yes my great Uncle went to college and studied Chemistry and his wife studied Math and English got a double major. It was a pretty big win for him because he had been considered dumb all his life because of a speech impediment and didn't graduate highschool he volunteered for WW2 and he ended up at a hospital helping with the treatment and rehab for the injured soldiers. He probably meet my grandma because she was a nurse at the hospital there at the time and shows what a small world it is indeed. Grandma was older then my great uncle because she was born in 1905 and he was born in the 1920s. She was born into a wealth family her sisters all married well and she became a Registered Nurse. She met grandfather in the 1950s and they got married. I think it was a shock to some people because I think folks thought she was a Nun. She worked at a Catholic hospital and everyone called her Sister Ann. I have there wedding pictures and they look so young for being almost 50 when they got married.
My great- grandfather never hurt his wife, he was kind to her 24/7 and loved her till the end. Yall in the comments won't stop criminalizing men- 🤦🏼♀️
@hatred Hitting your wife was illegal in the 1950s, and if you got caught you'd get the shit beat out of you back then, and the cops would turn their head the other way. You might even get shot. You might even get shot just for having premarital sex with a woman back then. These days, if you even punch someone who rapes and beheads a woman you'll be prosecuted for assault to the full extent of the law. Keep living in lala propaganda land.
Back then hitting was okay wasn't considered bad lmao , The mindset of women were different back , that's why they deserved love as well not just beating .
I love how in any other context, you guys are boycotting shaving companies for calling you abusive. I guess when its time to contrast womens points, youre all abusive again? Thats some pick and choose logic there.
But prob it was, because back then women had no rights and were seen as less by society, therefore every man followed this mindset, even if he did not agreed with it.
@@moonamoonz There is no doubt that many men just married and then lived peacefully. You can say "it was common" but implying that alll men were abusive is ridiculous. And what's your proof? Your opinion? Because if you've just heard about abuse being common and then assumed that therefore all men had to be that way is insane
@@mhm77887 domestic abuse was really common in the 1950s. It is retarded. It happens still in most families and I don’t know anyone who didn’t go through it with their partners or parents. But at least in 1950 you as a woman didn’t have to work and if you marry a rich man you got the money. Nowadays you marry a guy he turns out to be a pimp and doesn’t have any money whatsoever.
I remember meeting one of the local self made millionaires. You’d never know. Hardest working guy you ever met. Very generous. His wife was a real sweetheart. Not everybody got beaten in the 1950s. What most likely happened was either they were unusually super happy their entire lives, or by the time they were in their 50s he had a couple mistresses on the side and she knew about it, but wasn’t gonna get a divorce and lose her status in high society.
I like how the outfits are really glamorous but they’re not overly flashy and she’s still covered that’s so cool
people are always talking about woman are better covering and when men show much skin no one cares and no one compares men to objects that can be ,,used,, and lose their value with every man entering in her or are already polluted with looks. My mom always teached me how i treat woman right and that objectification is never the right thing to go for. I am a grown man 24 years old and i still remember what my mom always told me.

For women and minorities, the 50s were not especially good times. Too much inequality.

Yes my great Uncle went to college and studied Chemistry and his wife studied Math and English got a double major.

@@Maggiebenjee yeah? And what're you gonna do about it?
I like how everyone thinks every husband in the 1950s was automatically abusive 😂
Women had few rights back then and were still seen as inferior to men and couldn't report it to the police since it wasn't considered to be a crime but a family matter.
