The Lemonheads are great, this whole album is full of great songs. I'll Do It Anyway, You Can Take It With You, and Big Gay Heart, are the other highlights in a generally great album.

I forgot about this band. In the early 90s I was a skater kid, into punk, hardcore and some metal, but I always liked some music that was more poppy and simple. I remembering liking the Lemonheads quite a bit, even though they were not normally my style of music.
The Lemonheads early music WAS punk...when Ben Deily left the band, Evan Dando took the band a different direction... one of my favorite Lemondheads songs is "F*cked Up"
Jangle pop (jangly guitars) alt rock band in the ''80s and '90s. Like REM, Replacements, Gin Blossoms, Teenage FanClub, The Bangals, The Refreshments, Bare Naked Ladies, The Las, etc. But Lemonheads can also be heavier, grunge. Should have watched the video for this song!

One of my favorite bands of all time. They have a great catalogue, from their early punk records with Ben Deily and Jesse Peretz, to the jangle pop stuff like this. If you want something really different, check out their version of "Amazing Grace" with Ben Deily on vocals.

It’s a Shame about Ray which is the album before this one is a masterpiece. Do My Drug Buddy or Rudderless. Juliana Hatfield is also on many of those tracks. My Sister by Juliana Hatfield is something you should do.

At the time the main guy Evan Dando was in the New York model scene. But I think he was on heroin too. He could write and sing songs for sure. That’s a great “power pop” song.

I love this song, and I cracked up at Brad saying he'd go into his phone, but I just have to point out that in the 90s we couldn't go into our phones yet, the technology available was just the arms of our lovers.
This song is possibly about heroin...but it's a beautiful song anyway.
What a dirge
This song isn’t cute, it’s about a heroin addiction being the only way to find comfort in this life. Hits way different when that’s known. The lead singer ruined his life from drugs.

He has always denied it, and said that they were just friends and he was surprised to learn that she had told Kurt they had had an affair, which according to him never happened.
