Love to see this Conquest stuff. Cheering on the Nords. Fyi: the Konungyr could have rallied the unit he was in on his activation the turn the Ice Jotnar came in and I'm pretty sure lethal demise only triggers when the stands are in contact, so the back ranks don't apply lethal demise. However that is assuming the rules writing is more accurate than it is in reality.
About half of my enjoyment from conquest comes from hearing Tycho name every unit when its activated, if you do start making tshirts you should have one that just says: THE BLOODEDDDD!!!!

I wasn't going to watch because I really only care about 40k, but I'm really glad I did. This was a ton of fun! I'm excited to see what other table top games I've been missing out on!
Shame, because as far as game design goes, 40k is utter trash.
Risky retreat of a unit that would get wiped on Tycho's activation anyhow? Especially when you expect exactly those Huskarls to be activated next? Smart as a Jarl!

awesome battle report as ever. One tiny detail I noticed: If you turn the tide, the unit to be activated is chosen, the card never drawn. So the huscarls couldn't have used their draw event.
Feel like these paint jobs have been vastly improved since the last time I saw these armies...Love Conquest! Keep it up!

Throughout the game, Nick slowly gets more and more insane as Tycho kills his army and the trex doesn't come on
Nice I really like the game. Was thinking just last night how I'd like to see more conquest. Only thing stopping me playing it atm is the entry price tag completely understand why but i can't justify it atm especially as its only one army in the starter kit can't even talk my mate into splitting the box with me (which I'm trying to talk him into splitting a blood bowl starter set).

My money’s on the W’ardrhun. Their chants are gonna be the death of a few Jotnars, and their Evasion should hopefully keep them tankier than the Nords. This battle’s literally glass-cannon vs. glass cannon, though, so I’m hype!
If they use Trolls though the Regen can make them hard to hack through.
@@Waywardpaladin Trolls are quite the grindstone, true. We’ll see the lists first. It’s hard to manage a strong Troll list if Jotnar are also added cuz of Mainstay vs Restricted option.

Hey guys, huge fan of the channel you guys make the best quality battle reports on the Internet no joke! I've seen you do star wars, 40k and other smaller games. I was wondering if you are going to try bolt action at any point? It's a WW2 based tabltop game and I think it would look amazing with your quality of videos.
We have some bolt action players on the team but have not got a show together that made the cut. So many games we want to show off!

The ending there was awesome one commander took the whole squad down as he himself dies then a T Rex and his rider slayed a Ice giant the bow men where just watching with jerky and ale looking at the Giants and Dinosaurs fight.

Quick question! At 23:05, Nick attacks with the Blooded, who have a C value of 2, meaning they hit on 2s or lower. But I see him including hits on 3s and even 4s. I know he used the Tier 1 Famine, but that only gives the regiment the Shock special rule. Is there something I'm missing here? I'm not accusing anyone of cheating but I'm genuinely curious because I'm trying to learn this game. Great video, btw. Love the Apex Predator!
When you successfully charge you automatically get inspire for 1+ on your clash, the 4 might of just been a mistake from them trying to wrap up the game sense there is a 0% chance a single hit would have changed anything

Shouldn't singular be Ice Jötunn and Mountain Jötunn? I thought Jötnar was the plural.

I do like the models quite a bit, but honestly not a fan of the game play. It's fast which is cool, but random units coming on is really a bummer, and the better units limited so they only have a turn or 2 before game is over just feels a bit more swingy and really limits choices during game play. Not interested if I'm honestly but this channel is great all the same

They're not. They are super easy to play though so when you play casually they overperform. and W’adrhŭn are the most complex army so in casual games they underperform

They have Last Argument of Kings which is the rank and file game, and First Blood which is a small skirmish/warband game, uses the same models.
