Thanks for sharing the pie chart of the scoring system! Would be nice to see a breakdown of all three of your scores as a table, maybe at the end of the episode during the outro. Keep em coming, especially whiskeys and bourbons! ☺️
So glad to see you guys again! Love the content. Will Mr. Dillon be making an appearance on the new channel? Not that I don't love just regular Dillon...
I agree, it's nice to see them back. I suppose we don't necessarily "deserve" an explanation as to why Ben is no longer around but it would be nice to know. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who want to know. I actually enjoyed his commentary and reviews.
New to your channel and I like it very much! I appreciate your honesty. So many other people just love everything! Come on folks, not everything is that good. I understand taste is subjective but I can still form my own opinions based on your impressions. Keep up the good work!
Glad someone finally spoke the truth about this bottle. So many people heap praise upon it and i myself never understood why ? I tried it and i agree it is very average middle of the road bourbon not worth the hype Or high mark up . I am not sure it's really worth it at msrp . I feel there are quite a few better bottles available On the shelves of every liquor store that can be bought for $40.00 -$50.00
Love the Bourbon content and the scoring system. Bet if you changed the content to only bourbon, again, and maybe changed your name to Bourbon Curiosity or something, then you'd be up to 2,000 SUBS by now. Anyhow, keep it up guts. I am curious.
The only Michter's that I am drinking is the 101 Proof Michter's distilled and bottled in Pennsylvania. All else is fake. Though I am on my last bottle (bought in 1982) so I may have to try some of the new stuff. Thanks for the review. I have been tempted based on the hype, but will wait to see what you think of other Michter's offerings.
One question about your rating / feedbacks, you got categories for good, bad and ugly. Just one positive, 2 negatives... I mean, not want to bend you to score everything higher, but woudln't it make it more balance to have great, good, bad and ugly? And you can even link it with the points you're giving. Every category with 9-10 points is great, 6-8 is good, 3-5 is bad and 0-2 ugly? Just an example... but I think it would make it more transparent long term. Now you're just providing highlights here and there, but not really sure if what you state as "bad" for example is all that is bad on the that specific spirit, or just one of many "bads" when looking into your papers. Speaking longtersm, what about some kind of top gear cool wall or time board or in your case "medal board"? Would be nice decoration to stand behind you with the all stars to be nicely on the top. :)
I think Dillon struggles with Michter's LOL he is objective though. I remember the 10 year was a struggle for him too LOL so I get his response to this juice
I think the regular sour mash is the weakest michters, with the rye and american being their best usual offerings. Can only imagine the toasted barrel follows suite.
It's cool you're showing the scoring system breakdown. It's clearer.
Love the review! It’s crazy how hard these are to come by and the prices are through the roof! Cheers 🥃

TY soo much.. almost bought this for $90. Now I'm glad I passed & got a store pick Woodford Double Oak
Another great video! More bourbon!! And when can we start buying some merchandise?? Gotta support the channel!
I agree with your grading !
Good to see you guys back! What happened to the Butcher?

I guess it's safe to say the Butcher has been cut from the crew? Damn.
Yea what happened to the other guy?
Just found you guys again. I like the simpler scoring but still great insight into the juice.
Thanks! Glad you found us!
Dutch, With the amount of editing you do for these, why not just edit in a clear still
shot of the labels?
Great video! Learned something as always
For our younger friends, What's a hub cap?

Couldn't agree more with the rating! It's a thin mess.
I think people chase this thinking it will be as good as the toasted rye barrel proof.

Will you be keeping a summary of your scores that are accessible to the viewers as you review more bourbon/whiskeys etc?

I come for Dutch's metaphors, I stay for Dillon & Jules' bickering.

I was feeling bad because I have not seen the Michters Toasted Barrel in my area. Not feeling that bad anymore. Does not sound worth the dollars.
Toasted sour mash is not good. But toasted bourbon and rye are definitely worth seeking out
This is a struggle sipper. You pay through the roof & it taste very underwhelming.
