Lychee Winter White Sangria
Serves 4-6
1 orange, sliced
1 apple, sliced
1 can lychee with syrup
1 cup vodka
1 bottle ginger ale or club soda
1 bottle Barefoot Chardonnay
Handful of cranberries
In a pitcher, combine all of the ingredients and chill for up to 1 hour to serve.
Bubble Winter Froze
1 scoop raspberry, mango, or orange sorbet
1 serving barefoot bubbly rose
In a glass, scoop sorbet and top with barefoot bubbly rose.

I was taught that the correct way to pop a bottle of bubbly is to twist the bottle…but as long as it opens I think that’s the only thing that matters :)
I once saw a sommelier on tv and he said to actually twist the bottle one direction and the cork the other way and not to pull at all. My hubby tried it and it worked well for him. The sangria looks so good. I have to work Saturday afternoon so I am not going to drink this year. Boo hoo! I am going to make myself a mocktail instead. No entertaining tonight. Working until 6. I am making a cheese board though - cheddar, manchego, brie with porcini, marinated feta with olives, capicola (italian spicy meat), genoa salami, truffle salami, strawberry jalapeno crackers and Marys Gone Crackers. I also have some blood oranges. Might add those. I am also making Trader Joe’s Truffle Gnocchi. Cheesecake for dessert. Mocktail at midnight. Unfortunately I have to work at noon tomorrow so no alcohol, Happy New Year!

there is a light one but the color of the orange is pretty close! it’s like a blush pink on the inside. cara cara oranges are so pretty!!
