I watched her interview with Leif and was surprised by how nice he was to her and how thoughtful his responses were, given his struggles at the time.
Andy, pretending he's surprised about the extent of drug use in the industry. Thou doth protest too much, sis.
Leif Garrett is a beautiful human being. He went through so much and is still lovely, gentle and humble. He never says anything bad about anyone. He still looks great and doesn't look bitter.
Don't say anything if you don't have anything nice to say. That's my motto

She was asked that question. She had to answer.
She answered a question. She didn't gossip or offer anything up. As for Leif. He "seems" ok now but who knows. He destroyed his friend's life in a car accident while he (leif) was driving wasted. His friend (a dancer) was left paralyzed due to Leif's negligence and drug / alcohol use.

There is nothing to tell. Unlike the nasty hypocrite Ellen, with Rosie what you got was what there was ... Rosie treated everyone with dignity. She even went and met Michael Cohen in jail and forgave him for being Trump's attack dog.

She was popularly known as "The Queen of Nice,' a charming, relatable woman who claimed to have a crush on Tom Cruise, who randomly broke into showtunes, and who loved to launch Kooshballs into her audience. And believe it or not, it was all over the second she came out and rocked a new skaterpunk's hairstyle. The same happened to Ellen until she finally won fans back with her show. It was truly sad to watch what happened with these women whom America fell so head-over heels in love with only to see how quickly and viciously our culture can turn on you.... especially to a young gay kid who feels so far from anyone like themselves, watching from a tiny town in the upper Midwest and so desperately needing these open, honest women as role models.

Face-palm. It's called make-up. Most TV shows have make-up artists.
It didn't stop Rosie saying how she used to be a fan and showing her collection of pictures etc and getting him to sign stuff. She did throw him under the bus especially when he brought things for her and was being nice. He was off his face though, I watched the show. She could of just said she'd rather not name him. There were four others she didn't name.

I just rewatched parts one and two of Leif Garrett’s interview/ singing. His face hadn’t changed, there was no mark! Why does she need to lie?

She’s well within her right to speak her mind and if Leif owns up to it and is honest about his past, it’s not being disrespectful. That interaction effects them both.

But Leif's character is bigger and greater than many. He is a beautiful gentle soul. I call his life a great success... He has past many tests with gentleness and humility.

If Rosie O'Donnell insists on staying in the public eye (instead of disappearing, which is what most people probably wish that she would do) then she really needs to be managed and advised by someone smart (not that she would listen to ANYONE though). She was once arguably one of the most popular people in entertainment (hard to believe, huh?). And the way that her popularity has fallen into decline over the years is hard to believe (considering how well-liked she once was, that is). I've always felt that if she really feels the need to remain in the public eye, then she should probably just keep her mouth shut publicly -- and at ALL TIMES, pretty much, too (probably IMPOSSIBLE for her though). Hey, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis never talked publicly to the press. Greta Garbo didn't. So it CAN be done. O'Donnell should maybe just focus on acting where she's only playing roles instead of playing herself, because she was actually always damned good at it, and/or charity work (but she would still have to keep her mouth shut with the latter, speaking only when to say "nice things" -- nothing negative). Then maybe see if, slowly but surely, she could gradually start to climb out of the abyss that she's been in for so long in regards to her popularity. (Also, she should obviously only play "nice" or "appealing" roles too. If she played roles which closely resembled her own personality right now [sorry, but it's true], any such attempts with the acting-thing would just keep her in the stagnated position she's been in for so long.) Maybe I missed my calling career-wise and should have been a celebrity manager, lol.
