      @@DarrenM It's been a pleasure Darren. I come from no background, have no style and just create adds based on what I learned in each of your videos! I am having so much fun and yet every once in a while I have a vision in my mind that I just don't have the ability to create! Learning how to be patient! Your videos are making a different to my business and I am grateful!

    its mind blowing this app doesn't have a layers tab for you to see and select different layers, similar to photoshop. cause canvas way of doing it is incredibly annoying

    Thanks for the video. Can we add another picture as the background with Canva and then add the dancing guy to that? In other words, can I take a picture of a person (as an example) erase the background and add that picture into another picture I’ve downloaded (of the Grand Canyon as an example) , to make it look as if the person was at the Grand Canyon?

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  3 місяці тому

      Yes. Just add the multiple layers and move them back and forth as needed. There’s now a panel called layers that makes this easier.

    Hello 👋 I know this video is a year old now but if anyone sees this and knows if there’s a way to see all of your layers in one spot or like a panel of some sort? Or if it’s possible to hide one element & then bring it back into view when you need it or where you can select something that’s under other different layers without actually clicking on the image/element itself ?? 🤦‍♀️ Probably made zero sense but thought I’d give it a try! 🤷‍♀️ Lol anyways, thank u for this info I learned some things!👍

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  2 роки тому

      Thank you. But nope. No hidden layer. I’m hoping they add this feature though. Layers is a pain in Canva.

    I was directed here for instruction on putting my design on a T-shirt. Not sure how this would apply with the wrinkles in a T-shirts. I know if I was using photoshop I would skew the design but I don’t see how to do that based on this video.

    • @DarrenM

    So I have an issue when I upload my thumbnail to Canva. I am guessing you will be able to prescribe an easy fix.
    When I upload it does not take up entire space allotted for a thumbnail. After uploading from Canva, do I have to adjust sizing of the photo?

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  3 роки тому

      If you’ve uploaded an image to Canva, you’d just need to use the corners and adjust it to fit

    • @johncharp3369
      @johncharp3369 3 роки тому

      @@DarrenM I apologize . I didn’t explain properly. After I DOWNLOAD an image I create in Canva, save and upload as a YT thumbnail, the sizing is off. I haven’t figured out on YT Studio if/how to adjust the photo sizing .

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  3 роки тому

      @@johncharp3369 you can resize in the pro version to be 1920 x 1080. Or you can copy it over to a new template using copy and paste.

    Do you have to copy and paste each layer and then after you do that do you highlight the whole thing and then save it with the lucky with the lock

      Interesting idea. Not sure fully what you mean. A frame has to be one colour/shape like a silhouette.

    Hi Darren, I have a question - how to overlay 2 png images in Canva? I have mandala animal picture and mandala background, both transparent. If I save the animal mandala image as pdf/jpg file, it does not help because it will have squre/rentangle shape. Is there any easy tip here? Thanks.

    • @DarrenM

      Do you mean like a double exposure effect? You could use the frame effect that I have a tutorial on, put the image behind the frame and combine with the remove background options.

    How can you view the individual layers?

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  4 роки тому

      There isn't currently a panel where you can see layers. I just move my images around to see which one is over the other. I keep it simple and think if it as two layers and if it on top or behind the image I want it to show on. Hope this helps :-)
