what do i do if there is dry blood stuck? i’ve tried using a w tip but it always swells up after
i have 10 ear piercings and my ears tend to react very badly to them (my first double helix was a literal nightmare). i got my forward helix last november and it's actually the only piercing i got that healed properly and quickly. also it's my favorite one, it's so pretty :)
I just got mine pierced and I have dry blood on it, what should I do? Should I leave it alone or clean it off?
6 years later and my forward helix still isn’t healed
I just got mine on both ears a week ago. I thought I had to clean it with salt water and q tips to get rid of the crust and blood. When I use the q tips it spins all around and now it’s incredibly swollen.
I just got my first forward helix on December 15, 2021 then my second December 26, 2021. This second one got my ear swelling 3x the size. I'm having to put ice. I always use the salt stuff you talk about in your videos. I did the gallon and I keep it beside me for every day use.
Hiii please does ice really work for it? Mine’s swollen as well
@taiworaheemat5001 I end up taking my second forward Helix out. Really only thing that work was pain medication and the soaking it in that salt water stuff. Because I'm in Texas my piercer told me that everytime I shower to blow dry my piercings. So I do that too. I actually at the point to give up on my only forward Helix. I've had it for almost 2 years and it seems healed some days. Months later it's back to like I just had it pierced. I'm like 🤦🏻♀️. Every 6 months I have to go from 1/4 18g post to 3/16 18g. So I'm so over this.
My double helix was pierced in July 2021. I have had challenges with the top piercing. Tonight, I decided to remove it and hope that after letting it heal I can get it repierced. The back of the post left a constant, uncomfortable pressure to the other portion of my ear that it touched. However, due to the thickness of the cartilage, I couldn’t decrease the length of the post. I’m not sure if having both helix piercings so close together at the same time contributed to it, but after the removal I had immediate relief.
How did it heal? Did you have any bump at the time of taking out the piercing?
@@justmyworld2542 It healed well! No bumps, no inflammation. Just a perfect little 16 g hole. I actually just had my triple helix on the same ear pierced and the studs for my orbital on the other ear two weeks ago. I have not had the double forward helix repierced. Instead I opted for trinity (??? I think that’s what it would be called) jewelry instead.
Also, this time around I purchased a travel pillow, you know, the donut pillows 😂, so I can sleep on my sides with minimal irritation to my new additions.
Simple this piecing has had a bump for more than a year
My piercer told me to move it up and down and to use antibacterial soap
And now I have a keloid
I just got my piercing 4 days ago and told me the same exact thing!
Same with mine, and it's still HELLA painful 6 months later
I'm actually freaking out I got my cartilage done today with a gun..
