This song has a very special place in my heart...so I loved this girl (lets name her R) R was a quiet girl yet everybody liked to be with her. I didnt talk with R for the half of my semester. There was supposed to be a test the next day and I had no notes since i was absent. There was literally no one active, except her. I asked it from her and here is the beginning. We started to talk with each other, both of us were introverts but we used to get pretty good conversations. It was just 5 months ago she suggested me this song while we were having conversations on our fav songs. I was just absolutely into her everytime i heard this song. Time flew by fast and my feelings for her grew even more and we had late night convos till 5am. I confessed to her, i showed all my emotions, on how she helped me with so many things. We really loved each other but i had to change schools since our family had to move out. I became depressed, had cigars and I just cannot cope, this was my first time i have ever liked someone so much. Its hard. We talked through discord but its been 2 months we didnt talk at all and I feel like the odd one out in this new place...
Nope this isnt a rant on how she left me, she did nothing wrong, i was the one who left her...thank you R for all those memories for a whole year...ily
edit: its 2024 now, omgg i will be meeting up with her irl some days later, we started talking after some months of this comment, today was amazing and i've quit doing smoking as well, im improving and starting to love life again. It was my birthday as well and this gotta be the best birthday present i've received, wish me luck...

The song is so cute, but the lyrics hurt badly. Can partially relate to the whole situation of unreciprocated love, not because she doesn't like me back, but because any relationship are simply impossible for objective reasons (living in different countries and being too young and broke to finally meet up irl) . And all I can do is just build maridge-far-going dreams in my mind and try to look satisfied with everything, although of course I'm not ok, at this point it has been lasting for couple of years and honestly makes me feel very depressed. I'm so detached from reality it's scary...
