This is a touch of nostalgia for those of us old enough to remember "Hawaiian Eye." Tina Cole was just so darn cute & of course she was also the child of musical royalty - Yvonne King of the King Sisters and jazz organist Buddy Cole ("Mr. Lucky"). Thank you.
I think Troy Donahue was the star of the Hawaiian Eye. I vaguely remember watching a few episodes when I was a child. Wish episodes were on DVD or ME TV.
The main stars were Anthony Eisley, Robert Conrad, Connie Stevens, and Poncie Ponce. In the final season, Troy Donahue was added and Tina Cole filled in as musical act for Connie Stevens for a few episodes. The series does air on the MeTV+ network (that's MeTV PLUS, a secondary MeTV channel), only available with an antenna and in some markets.
In this episode you've got Grant Williams ("Greg McKenzie") and Troy Donohue as the detectives of the week. Robert Conrad may or may not be in this one. Troy was shipped over to "Eye" after his Surfside 6 series ended a 2 season run. Though not as the same character. Troy was "in" for the final season, and the production removed Anthony Eisley from the cast in the process. Grant Williams came aboard after season 2 was underway.
Don't know if someone's UA-cam channel is posting full episodes of this rarely seen private detective series ? Barely recognize Tina here. Until I came across a CA TV news station morning Good Day on air interview, I didn't know or forgot she had, a role in this earlier TV show. She mentioned in the interview that The King Family TV Show, etc "came way after, HE & her late 60s to 1971 My Three Sons fame" Yet, they were on Hollywood Palace with Bing Crosby in 1964 ?
Best I can give you presently is: you're in Season 4, the series' last, (62 63). Guest star in background may be Andrew Duggan. From there we can check Hawaiian Eye episode guides on line.
@@AdmiralNelson1000 We see her character, lounge showroom singer Sunny Day, in 8 year four episodes, from nos. 13 (Jan. 8, 1963's 'Kupikio Kid') to the penultimate show, no. 23 (March 26, 1963's 'The Sisters'). That should help, "clev1729."
Beautiful music from a very beautiful lady. I never saw Hawaiian Eye but loved Tina Cole on My Three Sons.
Love those dresses
She's a cutie pie
Yes she is.

Tina Cole…one of the most beautiful ladies ever on television ❤
So beautiful and so very talented, is what makes Tina Cole so dreamy...
All these great old shows should be on Roku.

@@AdmiralNelson1000 thank you so much! Really appreciate it, I absolutely adore this show :)
Did Tina Cole have a regular role on Hawaiian Eye?
This beauty was filing in for cast regular Connie Stevens, who was possibly out on a "labor dispute" during part of the 4th and final season.

What year is this?
This is from the show s 4th and final season. Tina is temporarily rep lacing series regular Connie Stevens. (62-63).
What's interesting is that she hardly had any professional experience at this point.
I heard her say in an interview recently that it was her first professional acting job. She was only 19!
