- Legendary dubstep & UKG pioneer El - B stopped by The Front Room in Croydon last October to reveal how he makes those drums so crisp, alongside an informative insight into his production style and for a general chit chat about how his upbringing influenced his creativity. He also welcomed a member from the audience for a quick hands on tutorial on how to make signature El-B beat. A must watch for all UKG and dubstep fans!
Absolute respect to the (only) guy asking questions of any worth, especially the burial question. Proper rare insight there you won’t find anywhere else.
And large up el-b. Absolute OG of this uk garage thing. Proper character too.
Mad that more people weren’t asking more questions! What a missed opportunity.😢
IMHO this and the 10 year old + studio interview with EL-B that's also up on UA-cam are two of the most informative tutorials on producing electronic dance music (of all genres) going. If you're just starting out, or studying at the moment, pay particular attention to this man's wisdom and natural talent. Liked and subscribed.

Fuck Noodles. Big respect to El-B always. Maybe the greatest 2 step producer there has ever been
Badman!
sounds like burial's using a tracker if the screens going up. you can quantize the midi but not the samples in older trackers (unless you chop them up). massive respect to El-B btw, this isn't a tutorial, not a masterclass, it's just straight wisdom!
Absolute DON

24 hour download but i can send the file
@@adamwilson951 mate that's really not the one now, is it... If El-B wanted people to be able to have access to it outside of that 24h, he'd put it up for purchase without a time limit. Not to mention you offering to share a tune with someone who hasn't paid for it. Pretty disrespectful to the artist.
anyone know the intro song?
4 months later, i am still looking, the song that starts at 0:00
Anyone know what daw they’re using
