I worked at Universal for 5 years while I was a student at Rosen. Working there is actually what made me want to study hospitality management. They’re an awesome company to work for, and they take care of their team members. Many of us were still paid during the entire shutdown in 2020 (Top executives took pay cuts, and a lot less people were furloughed than at Disney). Right when everything started opening back up in June, my wife went into labor, and I was able to get 10 weeks of parental leave, all but one of those weeks being paid. Everyone wants to work for Disney, which is also a great company to work for, but they’re not the only company people should consider applying for.
yea UCF definitely comes through with the connections to theme parks that a lot of the students have through our amazing hospitality management program. It's all about those connections lol ;)
Yes, it does and the event didn't happen last year and was limited capacity this year so that's why a lot of UCF students were trying to get a ticket last minute from others who were selling them :)
It was! Love that students could go to this event! Now all I have to do is go to spirit splash next year and I'll have attended all of UCF's biggest traditions at least once! it was so nice getting to meet you too
A lot has changed this past year so there are definitely some new things all around UCF. I'm taking some online courses over the summer and I have already enrolled in my classes for the fall semester too! I am super busy with extracurriculars but I'm hoping to have more college content out on this channel soon! :)

What’s new at UCF? Are you studying during the summer or back during the fall?
